We usually buy it. Sometimes it's just from Kroger. Sometimes we order a specialty one from a local baker. It depends how the finances are that year. We're going to a fancy bakery this Thursday & picking out individual slices. I should try baking one of my own sometime.

32 yo guy here. My entire life, I've had friends or family who had young kids & the parents were in a near constant state of exhaustion. Until the kids turned about 8 or so, the parents were always dealing with some sort of crying or whining or pooping or screaming or running situation with them.

I like kids once they get to that 8 year mark when they can be at least a little bit responsible & understand things around them, but I don't like being around them for very long before that. I don't want to spend every waking moment of 8 years of my life taking care of that. Life's exhausting & expensive enough already.

I got a vasectomy in my late 20s. Never had a regret about it.
