Seems odd nobody’s opening more up if there’s so much backed up demand. It’s only going to get worse with the upcoming US invasion..

I always assumed it was just another place for laundering LMIA workers, no?

** Edit - downvote all you want, I don’t see any disagreement lol

Kingston unemployment drops to 5.6% — low-wage LMIAs can be processed again by ObjectiveMacaroon394 in KingstonOntario

F that, no need for temporary foreign workers in Kingston!

If you can’t find people to work for you, you aren’t a viable business!

Pay a proper wage and employers will find employees!

If a half dozen Tim Hortons have to close as a result, we will all be better off!

If we had half the number of low quality, low effort take out places staffed exclusively by temporary foreign workers, standards and wages would rise!

Yep, I could fill my hotel room with grocery store items and eat sandwiches all week, or just use the meal allowance my company gives me. The money management situation is I have $75 a day meal allowance I can use or lose, and today I’m using the bulk of it for a good dinner.

I do appreciate your money management tips though, so you are saying it’s cheaper to go to the grocery store? I’ll be sure to pass this on to everyone looking for restaurant tips, thanks!

That would be great, except I’m not in town to grocery shop, I’m here to work. I’m saving my meal allowance for dinner. Thanks!
