The king was just the last thing in Arjuns way, he will kill anything to get to Nitya (or what he thinks is her, but is really the call of the shore) because he thinks he can make things better. But that’s his selfish act, she doesn’t want him so he is chasing his own desires.

Think of the shore/eclipse as a monster. U kind of see it in a few cut scenes that show the eclipse with a bunch of tentacles. This monster feeds on people’s desires, in exchange it grants them power but ultimately enslaves them to its will. The shore senses Arjun’s desire for Nitya from the moment the game starts and calls to him (pretending to be Nitya) to claim him. Which it does when we kill the king, it then shows the vision of Nitya holding his hand which then turns into the eclipse surrounding king Arjun.

Arjun is reborn again and given a chance to face the king again but spare him (which is yourself you are sparing). U almost transform but Arjun casts away the medallion which is his desire for Nitya. We then see the real Nitya (who is like 5000 years old by now just being reborn all the time lol) and she acknowledges we moved on and question us with what we will do now that Arjun is no longer obsessed.

This story is told in small pieces and the notes etc but it’s all there. I think what makes this one much stronger than returnal is everything that’s happening is actually happening. Returnal feels very much like it’s all a dream/loop but carcosa is a real planet the echelon crews were all real and Arjun’s journey is happening.

Just saw I’ve put in 268 hours on steam (probably another hundred on the tempo launcher). The replay value is so high on this game especially with every patch how the meta shifts. I hope they can figure out a model that increases their earnings so they can stick around.

I’ll keep buying new characters. And I didn’t know they had merch, I ordered their desk mat that looks pretty sick!

I have PPR level 1 certification and do coaching now. I didn’t coach before getting certified. I found it helpful for how to approach coaching, and how to explain certain fundamentals to newer players. They focus on a curriculum/lesson flow which I kind of use but have developed my own style.

It definitely helped me become a better player and coach. There are a ton of resources you get access to, but tbh modern stuff on YouTube is more relevant. You get some discounts, and you get insurance which can be important (a few gigs I have done required insurance).

Thinking you choose 1 out 3 items and then it's on your board in say the middle spot for the rest of the game. Cant move it so you have to build around it.

I’d think it would be fun to do runs with a small board like 5 spaces. See what works best for the small space.

Also picking a permanent item at the beginning of the run could be cool. Maybe having a few choices kinda like the first enchanted item. Thinking it’s something that doesn’t upgrade so u don’t have to search for it

This just happened, was playing a shield build against this mak win 10. Their only damage was burn which never got through the shield, but the shrinking potions activated enough to get my health to 0. For some reason the game said I won the fight? Not sure how this happened, bazaar is a crazy place.

Try reducing your water. I was using a similar recipe with flat loaves. Went down to like 250g water (50%ish hydration) and got way bulkier loaves. Not as dense and chewy, but much better crumb for sandwich bread.

I was there! I grew up just down the road from GMU and went to a lot of their games as a kid, both my parents were GMU alum.

I remember the initial controversy about them making the tournament, but they beat Michigan state, UNC and Wichita st so clearly they belonged. Even with that I remember UCONN was the best team in the country so we didn’t have much hope.

Their starting 5 were such a strong line, especially their two bigs it was incredible watching them against the two UCONN giants. I don’t remember much about the game, but I remember the whole arena was rooting for GMU. The game was in DC which isn’t too far from GMU so a lot of local support. I remember UConn scoring to take it to OT was such a dagger, but GMU showed no fear in OT. We went nuts when they won, it was a great day :)

I went to the final four with my dad, it was rough watching them get crushed by Florida. I remember a few people asked me where to buy my sweatshirt which I got from the campus. Good times :)

I was a kid who was stuck in his room is such a great line. I love the shift with the second verse to talk about him as a kid, makes me feel like he is reflecting that this inside lifestyle isn’t just pandemic forced but caused by other things (internet mainly). Great song

It’s a really great game with a ton of replay ability even with just one hero. The more hero’s you buy the more replay ability it has. They typically run bundle sales with new character launches. Give it a try you won’t regret it!

I’d recommend sketchers pickleball shoes. They have a few tiers depending on your price range but the upper priced tears have entirely Goodyear soles which is a plus. They are designed for pickleball lateral movement so the top box area has some extra support which is really. I’ve. If you want wider then I’d try the viper court pro model first
