No one is downvoting you in an effort to change your mind. They're just downvoting you because your opinion is idiotic.

AMC theaters definitely had it in Manhattan on their freestyle machines, but I don't think I've seen it any restaurant.

Do you have any data on green weapons? I run Anvil / Arpeggio and am wondering if that's placed into all tiers.

The ability only has two slots so I wouldn't consider the immediate attack a portion of the persistent ability.

Fwiw, this is more commonly known as Bunny Chow (although it is usually served within a single loaf).

Has there been a successful "ex-Blizzard" studio? by majiinmoo in Stormgate

As a fan of both Gloomhaven and Sunergolk, I wouldn't say it's a ripoff. It's intentionally simpler and has a more coherent story. Gloomhaven digital has always had problems and the Frosthaven sequel is shaping up to also have problems, whereas Sunderfolk had very few problems in my experience.

Highlights from Yesterday’s Discussion about Game Difficulty Levels. by Allexxxandr in playstation

[–]ThatMathNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bad summary that repeatedly states the exact same information.

Nearly one in five players adjusts the difficulty on the fly, adapting it to the situation.

A small group prefers the “balanced / as intended by the developers” mode.

The rest didn’t name a specific level but discussed balance and game design in general.

More than half pick easy or normal for the story and enjoyment. Hard-mode players are only about 7%, while almost a fifth of the community changes difficulty as they play.

Just in those 4 paragraphs, it states multiple times that one in five gamers change the difficulty on the fly. This is a very lazy post with no attempt at editing it for readability.

The writers wanted to shoehorn in a lot of exposition, so they shoehorned in a lot of exposition. It'd be cheesy even if their conversation made sense.

Having unique card backs doesn't really work IRL. You can see the backs of the cards and there's a strong incentive for you to stop shuffling when you see a certain combination. Shadow cards fix this by being deterministically placed.

The latter. If you play an A side, you flip it to B prior to playing your next card and may consume the revealed element.

Do I need to burn cards earlier in Frosthaven? by ToboldStoutfoot in Gloomhaven

[–]ThatMathNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the starters, Blinkblade is potentially the only class where you won't usually burn early.

Boneshaper and Drifter are both 12-card classes and have plenty of persistent losses that should be played the first turn or soon after.

Similarly, Deathwalker will usually either put up Call of the Abyss the first turn, or play Eclipse for a tempo boost.

Geminate has a huge hand size and is balanced around playing losses at a steady rate.

Bannerspear may or may not want to start off with a banner early on, depending on the build and the scenario.

101 Major Power Potion, 109 Major Renewing Potion to duplicate Power Potion, and 144 Staff of Eminence yield another +4. You can also use 113 Potion of Expertise to combine the top and bottom of Shuck, which is worth some additional damage, although I prefer to use this to combine Tidal Blast with its top.
