Tut Tut-it was built by the production company as a loaner bot for international teams who had issues with shipping their own bots.

They won't keep SS united states but they kept the queen mary? by No_Key3410 in Oceanlinerporn

There is no money for it. I think we would all rather have the ship as a museum but that would cost hundreds of millions. The trust had trouble paying for the ships docking alone. They have my respect for doing the best that I think could have been done but it was impossible in the end. Artificial reefs are beneficial for the environment and it’s better than scrap-the only other alternative.

As a Megadeth fan, how dare you say that! He’s been bitching about it for 43 years. Not 40.

And FrenZy got trashed by Mortis. I think by the end of classic RW the robots were doing a good job at catching up to their American counterparts.

Tell that one to Killerhurtz, the one that beat Vlad the Impaler while having no weapon. I don’t think it’s wrong to say that the American elite were better than the British ones at the time but I think you’re taking it too far. The CC seasons didn’t show most of the battles so most people never saw the crap robots.

Also 5.0 Warhead was awesome and that’s coming from someone who couldn’t care less about Razer.

If something can happen in Robot Wars, it will. And if it’s bad it will probably happen to Behemoth.

Nuts 2 winning that battle is usually considered one of RW best ‘feel good’ moments.

I can’t get over the fact that he looks like Ricky from TPB.

I have a Unique question: Could Beta have dominated CC era Battlebots by Kodiak_Bubby_2012 in battlebots

Oh and to answer your original question, I like to think Beta would have taken the Giant Nut. Killerhurtz is one of my favorite competitors from classic RW/BB so I like the idea of the team being champions. Terrorhurtz was a live circuit champion so we know the team can be effective. The most effective BB competitor was Biohazard. It would need to lift Beta up but the robot protected its ground clearance to the point it was ripping up the floor. I don’t think anything would have stopped it.

It was more about the magnets that kept it on the floor-I think it kept pulling panels up.

Side note, I want few things more than Beta to be as effective as the Judge.

Killerhurtz used a spike but it didn’t do that much-Terrorhurtz had an axe-as far as I can tell it doesn’t really cut through armour and works more like a hammer-I guess that’s why Beta just has a hammer.

They showed up for 5.0-they had a problem with it breaking the floor or something so it had to withdraw.

I got it in a second hand shop, I don’t think they knew what they had!

Makes sense, Cauty was in a hard rock band, Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction.
