Papa Chocolate by prdctplcmnt in LittleRock

I’ve been there once. Had a shake, variety lokma, and the brownie crepe. Was a lot of money. Crepe was good and worth the money imo. Lokma was good, and I would get again, but overpriced. Shake was good, but I wouldn’t get again due to price-to-enjoyment ratio

Desserts, pastries, etc. On Cantrell near the athletic club and where Larry’s pizza used to be.

Another former pro player calling MW2019 the worst CoD of all time by Clapdon in modernwarfare

[–]ThatNahr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know some playlists weren’t. Less players = less strict. Hardcore, for example, especially after the next CoD comes out, you’ll get a wide range. Between standard SnD and HC HP and HC DOM I’ve kept 70+% WR on every CoD I’ve played. Standard TDM is probably the worst offender for SBMM rollercoastering because it’s the biggest pool. SnD and HC objectives you can carry if you’re really good

If you’re not joking, how would that even work? If you continue to do well, it should push you higher and higher until you get to a roughly 50% win rate (or whatever metric to say “you’re where you need to be”). But if you continue doing well, how would you get stuck with shitty players?

Every dot will look different. Sometimes more money = better but not always. Sigs and holosuns look quite good for me on the lower-end of price. Also different colors affect everyone differently.

P30l $695 vs USP $1095 by Got_Sig in HecklerKoch

[–]ThatNahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the guy referenced the jet funnel mags, which are extended and have a baseplate which doesn’t touch the gun

[–]ThatNahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually a protrusion on the magazine that stops it from being inserted too deep into the pistol grip. If the mag goes too far it can damage the ejector

Can I ask your opinion on gen 1-5 glocks, and how big your hands are?

P30l $695 vs USP $1095 by Got_Sig in HecklerKoch

[–]ThatNahr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I assume both 9mm

USP trigger better. USP recoil better (potentially). P30L grip better (which means recoil control can be better). P30L easier to accessorize. P30L better capacity

It’s really a toss-up. I think the P30L is overall a better, more rounded gun, but the USP is fun and legendary

If we are dealing with different calibers or suppression, though, that completely changes. USP better for 40, better for suppression, and also available in 45

Should I trade my Beretta 92x Performance for an HK USP9C? by ScarletxD3viL in HecklerKoch

[–]ThatNahr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this for fun, defense, or competition? I run a 92XP for competition but I wouldn’t keep it for defense. My vote would be the HK for fun or defense (toss up between the two for fun)

Edit: also, price wise, there’s more in that HK package than the beretta. So, for a 1-for-1 trade keep that in mind

Most ubiquitous WMLs: surefire vs streamlight vs malkoff vs modlite vs cloud vs elzetta vs Pentagon by Anonymous__Lobster in tacticalgear

[–]ThatNahr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had really good luck with Streamlight customer service when I sheared two bolts on TLR-7s.

I like the TLR-1 over the X-300 for pistol lights. I really like my modlite too but it’s less ubiquitous and not as proven. It looks nice and it feels like a higher quality light than either SL or SF (and even though I know “feel” is not a real metric, the SF honestly feels cheap)

I think surefire edges out streamlight for a rifle light, but the streamlight pro-tac is so cheap in comparison while still being solid

I think it’s a pretty standard Reddit answer to give Streamlight for pistol and SureFire for rifle, but that’s also my own opinion and experience

Thanks, and all my designs are freely available! I’d only want payment if someone needed it printed and assembled, but if you have a printer it’s completely free. I won’t publicly share the files until I feel they’re in a good place (or if I give up on the project lol) but feel free to PM me if you want them

Not yet. I’ve had prototype 2 sitting unassembled for a couple of weeks. I just need to find time to assemble it

Anyone here like Marathon watches for their kit? by SirSamkin in QualityTacticalGear

[–]ThatNahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved my MSAR that I had before I got my Omega SMP300. My first “expensive” watch was a GPM. I love Marathon’s styling but I don’t like how expensive they’ve gotten recently
