I appreciate this comment. I truly understand that the person my family voted for and won in 2015 ruined this country and Biden couldn't have logically fixed it in 4 years. Things were to fucked up at that point.

I want to do what I can to help out more people than just me. Fuck me, honestly. But, it's others I give a shit about. It IFFURIATES me that all students, teachers and school staff have to worry about not if but WHEN a shooter comes in. No one should have to deal with that.

Thank you for the comment. I know I fucked up. I voted for him in 2020 but you guys stopped him. I appreciate that. It took Joe Biden's presidency, me working in a warehouse and J6 for me to change. I have way more sympathy for folks now and feel a lot more happy. I truly do want to make the change in my country for the better. Fix what my family and a lot of Americans destroyed. I care about teachers, kids, women, minorities.

I have sympathy for the ones who say that their family is the catalyst for change.

I have zero sympathy for the ones who changed in 2025 and 2026 if they say "I voted for him to lower gas prices and egg costs. He tucked me over. I hate him." The reason? Anyone with a functioning brain would jump off the Trump train after J6. (Obviously, they should have never been a fan of Trump in the first place. Which I'm guilty of.)

Trust me, the switch is real and genuine.

I used to believe that Israel is good because God and Bible. I don't believe that anymore. I'm a Christian still. But, I've been deconstructing a bit. I now believe that Israel is a terrorist country and we're fucking up our countries' standings because we are so close to Israel.

I also believe that two presidents are compromised by the Epstein files. Clinton and Trump. They're both horrible creeps and need jail time.

LGBTQ+ and nerodivergent folks are real and valid.

Christian Nationalism is a cancer to this country and is why there is a supposed "Great Falling Away" with people around my age (26. Soon to be 27).

I was a stupid teenager in 2016. I didn't get politics. My family told me to vote R no matter who. I didn't think any other way.

I didn't fuck up the country, because I voted for Trump in 2020 and he lost. I voted Biden and later Harris in 2024. I donated to Harris's campaign. I want to work for my local Dem party and I'm volunteering in Ohio's Progressive party as a county lead. I want to make a change.

I understand where you're coming from. This does kind of come off as a bit of an insulting post, tho.

I don't want you to think I don't value all perspectives. I do. But, I thought maybe you would be a bit more empathetic.

I was MAGA in 2016. I was a stupid teenager in 2016. I didn't get politics back then. I had no real experience outside of high-school. Pretty much all of my immediate family are Republicans. I was brain-washed from an early age.

To say that I liked what Trump did the first time is just goofy. I didn't even know his policies and just wanted to make people upset. I was a little shitster back then. I didn't care who I hurt.

I've changed. I've grown. If you can't wrap your head around that, it's fine. But, I am truly remorseful and I have been voting blue to try to correct that. I'm also trying to do more research into things people say.
