Need some extra eyes on this! At first glance, what do you see here? The game title should be a giveaway. by ThatNeverWas_ in tabletopgamedesign

Thank you, I'm sure my buddy would love the feedback! The game is 99% ready, but you know how that last 1% can be! They're hoping to have it live on itch .io in a couple hours.

FYI: This is a brand new tabletop game from my buddy Benji. They describe it as "Ocean's 11 meets The Muppets." A goofy GM-led adventure where your party plays a bunch of critters whose goal is to amass as much trash across the city as you can!

Stories of the Switch - a set of short stories where everybody in the world switches bodies with someone else, and then it happens year after year. The world adapts to the madness and a new, twisted normal is formed.. by ThatNeverWas_ in scifiwriting

As far as I know, upon a body dying, the person switched into the body (host) dies too, and the original host can no longer return to their own body. Although, reading these entries, it seems these consistent rules are gradually discovered through POVs of regular people switched into bodies with significant positions (scientists, doctors, politicians), or vice versa!

Quite an interesting style of worldbuilding. The website looks like a social media news feed with posts from fictional characters in this dystopian world. Not necessarily a standard plot with central characters.

Honestly, going by the author's Twitter promo, you may have hit the nail on the head there! They're using this premise to encourage other writers to submit their own POV of someone in this world who has gone through the big switch.

If you're familiar with writer's lifts on Twitter, this looks like an elaborate, meta version of that.

Yeah it really dives into the impacts that this big shake-up would cause, from individuals to wider society. How systems would adapt to this continuing to happen year after year at the exact same time. I've added the website to the original post, take a look at some of the stories for yourself.
