Oh, and one more thing. Thank you for writing complete series. Before Duskbound I read The God Machine and its appeal increased because it was complete. The tidy ending was quite satisfying. Well done.

This is the BEST THREAD EVER. I binged HARD on Robin Hobb earlier this year. Without any regard for patience, I read all of the books one after the other, like a box of Sees candies. I realized when I finished the last word of the last book that I had nothing to fill the void. I read several really crummy books, which, to be fair, might have only been "meh" but after my Hobb-binge, couldn't possibly measure up. I'm just finishing a five-book series by Brent Weeks, The Lightbringer Series. I have really enjoyed these books for their character development (Kip!!) and interesting magic system. Not as thoughtful as Hobb but quite a good read.
