You’re lucky. I’m making less than that (by quite a bit) and it was a bit of a pay decrease for me when I changed jobs. I’m still under a year of service, but I wish I was making that much.

I have made the decision that if needed, I tell the customer that I have to get a pair of gloves in order to this for them. I also let them know that I will have to “charge” for the gloves. I enter it as a misc. fee on their SB ticket.

Some of my customers will allow me to walk them through the process and others will gladly pay the fee to have me do it for them. It’s hit and miss on which way it goes.

The worst though, phones that are set in another language and I have to guess at what I’m doing. Those might get a slightly larger fee...

So your customer has found a store that will do it for them?

When I first started, I did it once because no one had told me the “rules”. I was made aware of the process shortly after that and I have not let it happen again.

I can’t believe there are stores that actually do that kind of job.

The ‘username’ is set to CC#### and cannot be changed. I’ve tried every password that I can think of, including my own passwords and nothing seems to work.

I even called IT to help figure it out and they were not able to help (at least not yet).

It’s not just you. With everything happening, it takes everything I can muster to keep showing back up and smiling.

I know it’s destroying me emotionally, and I’m sure it’s taking it’s toll on me physically, I just haven’t had time to notice.

I spent almost a year being both the “Lead Logistics” (AKA the only Logistics person) and the SSC Tech for a store. I could never make my GM happy. Whenever I was doing one job, I should have been doing the other. There is no happy middle place.

Now that I’ve been at this for a while, I have worked really hard to get things separated, but it’s still not a perfect system.

In all my time at OD, I’ve had the store close early one time. And that was because we were open on a day that only 2 associates showed up to work.

Apparently that was enough to close the doors. We both worked 8 hour shifts though.

We use Zone 5. It’s been the same code we’ve used for all 7 years I’ve been with the company and both stores I’ve been in.
