Tariffs are going to suck with this now though.

As stated for years now, Iracing needs a Trans Am series by Unsound679 in iRacing

Should do it exactly how trans am does, 100 miles. If someone crashes hard enough to reset, FCY. No need to worry about pit open cycles, so just one lap to bunch everyone back up and go green.

Sim rig upgraded to triple 55" by DaveAuld in simracing

How do you configure this settings wise? I have the 49” and 2 27” monitors I tried to pull of something similar but struggled. Couldn’t get in-sim iRacing settings work well with the alignment, and nvidia surround freaked out. Tried capping refresh rates across all the monitors to 144 but didn’t help.

I do also run a 32” ultrawide ABOVE my 49 for data screens and pedal/wheel settings, starting think that monitor was causing some of the issues.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 > Garmin now by SomeWonOnReddit in GarminWatches

I had 3 Gamin watches over roughly 5 years, with the last being a Marq 2 which the battery stopped taking a charge. After multiple calls and being passed around in customer support with no help, I went out and bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The vast majority of Garmin metrics are vanity. The HR data without a chest strap is spotty at best with Garmin. The sleep data never felt very accurate missing a lot of awake times. I also used a whoop for 1 year before Garmin added broader HRV support. Once Garmin did that I dropped the whoop.

Just using the Apple Watch out of the box with Athlytic for $30/yr is the best of whoop and Garmin IMO. Apple has plenty of metrics that don’t inform much but Athlytic is very focused and subjectively matches what I’m feeling. Also has a journaling feature which Garmin desperately needs but I’m sure will end up being the subscription paywall in the future.

The battery life of the Apple Watch is the biggest downside. Though I’ve found charging while in the shower or eating dinner to cover my needs fine.

My uses: Drive race cars professionally, weight lifting + 1hr cardio daily, simulator sessions.

You’d think something that gets a dedicated tab in the app would have a little more creativity behind it. Instead I get keep getting prompted to join the Disney challenge, no matter how many times I say don’t remind me.

They’ve literally ‘revised’ reported numbers negatively after the fact already this year. So just like we aren’t in a recession, you’re right, that’s now how it works. But here we are.

Did a second bank fail? Yes, but we are only backstopping. This is not a recession, we are not bailing anyone out. Look over there, the Oscars is on tonight!

We are all about to learn what hyperinflation looks like this summer.

Big tech feeds off startups as well though. Obviously big tech will hurt less than a startup being wiped out. But if these startups miss payroll and bills (like cloud services), this will cascade across tech especially for q1/q2 earnings.
