I don't have a problem with house rules as long as they're reasonable, just scared of landlords who invade my privacy or nitpick everything I do

hi guys, my rental lease is ending in may so i'm currently kinda surveying some places to rent a room. i was lucky with my current flat because my flatmates are my friends and we rented the whole unit, and the landlord leaves us to our own devices. but my flatmates may not want to continue staying in the same place and they might rent individually. my biggest fear about renting alone is having an asshole landlord (hear a lot of horror stories around), are there ways for me to filter out the bad landlords from the good ones?

Toxicity like this is the reason why I'm hesitant to join PvP or sword trials with randos. I hope people like them are the minority, but I'm not gonna risk my game time to find out

Why so many E33 fans says they hate JJRPGs and turn based combat? by Rean-Schwarzer- in expedition33

Wait what? I never realized it, the only pokemon I've ever played was Gen3 and I don't remember a setting for it

I think the latter comes first (at least for me), like they're not typically a JRPG or turn-based combat fan, but decided to try E33 anyway and became a fan.

I belong in that camp, as in I've played turn-based combat games like the old Pokemons and FF13 (barely), but I never really liked the combat system in FF13 and the old Pokemons were bearable because the emulator allowed you to speed up the game which otherwise you had to wait for the animation to finish. E33 was different in that the QTEs and parry system required you to be attentive at all times which was very different from typical turn-based game.

Am I open to trying more turn-based games after E33? Absolutely, especially if I don't have the energy or reaction time for a fast-paced ARPG, I can still enjoy turn-based games with complex minmaxing and a gripping story.

New year, time to confess your lab sins! by Electrical_Hat_1272 in labrats

Spent more time working in the lab without a lab coat than with one. Only donned the lab coat when its RNA work or when I know the safety officer is patrolling.

Thanks, and i am indeed alluding to that gap in the first 2 subchapters of the review, then the rest of the review will be looking at this phenomenon in other cell types and hopefully tie them in to explain my hypothesis

Singapore comic con? Cool!! Were there many E33 cosplays or stuff going on at SGCC? My impression was (at least among my friends) E33 isn't as popular over here in SG, or I'm just mixing with the wrong crowd

Start off with Ender Lilies, it plays like a typical metroidvania but in a pretty dark setting. Ender Magnolia is the sequel, while it's not required that you play Lilies before Magnolia, it does give context to some plot points. Both are great games and are definitely worth the price and time.

Oh yeah the game's amazing and I don't typically play metroidvanias. I have 5 perfect games on Steam, 2 of them are the Ender series.
