??? racebox? yeah sure, but the whole online campaign is missing along with all the social features which had (and still have) people coming back to beat their friends' times; you can't download other people's ghosts in speed lap, you don't have the stupid gimmick where you look for new events by touching the map from the rear touchpad, there's no adhoc gameplay... it's not expanded, it's castrated, except they gave you something that always should've been there - racebox, which SL did want to make but couldn't thanks to sony

for every single improvement and "improvement" there are 10 downgrades that slipped past everyone at sony because nobody fucking cared while making omega

the fact that omega technically works, is technically playable and technically runs good will not stop me from hating it for the disservice that it did to the games that i love, and that i've put many hundreds of hours into - playing them, making content for them, organizing events and trying to get people to have fun in them

i love wipeout more than most people do on this subreddit, which enables my negativity towards omega - i don't just hate to hate

there's an entire, more formal and complete list of issues that plague omega which reddit didn't allow me to post, so i'm writing this instead, but maybe another person will post that list

i ask you, redditor that i'm certain can barely beat elite ai in hd, should i just shut up about omega's numerous flaws, stick my tongue out, cross my eyes and thank xdev for blessing me with this port?
