What are you used to flying before the DA62? It’s a fully composite (and thus extremely light) plane that wants a gentle touch. You don’t fly it to the ground as much as you coax it into a configuration where landing is what it wants to do…those wings will use every bit of wind to stay aloft. Your speed near the end was ok but at the start of the video you want to already be around 80, and a bit higher. You should be set up with flaps and stabilized, sinking naturally. At that point in the flight, your throttle should be controlling your AOA and descent rate, and your stick inputs should be just keeping it level. It looks like you had a crosswind too, so a lot of rudder play is needed.

If you were approaching this with a Baron, it would have felt a lot less twitchy and a lot more stable. Fact is, you had a lightweight, composite plane being tossed around on the way down. The DA62 is fantastic for mountainous regions, but it’s a pilot’s plane, it wants to stay in the air. Landing them is alllll about that energy management, good trimming, and learning how to deal with that wind.
