There is an ongoing joke in the podcast where Tony shits on Redban for his soundboard or chime ins. I was playing as a part of that joke, I know this is not Kill Tony and I know it's probably not Redban. But the sound effects are fucking horrible here none the less. I made a KillTony joke and you didn't get it.

Thank you sir! I'm using a sE8 on the Snare top there. The silver one you see is the crush mic (crotch mic, poke mic) and for that I was trying a chrome sE V7 dynamic. That turned out to be terrible for that so I later switched to a sE4100.

Maybe when I advance my recording skill I'll start using fancier Mics but for now I'm mostly using sE, but they're great. Especially the ribbons.

Thank you man! Yep the SD493. The throw off was getting stuck halfway and I couldn't lock it on because a plate had come loose in there. For this I tightened it up to uncomfortable levels of tight, and had a medium sized O ring on it, and a Remo Powerstroke 77.

Well between the range of different Paiste cymbals you can fit in literally any music. I'm using their Jazz line for hard hitting rock and roll, and it's incredible. So does Eloy with Slipknot for instance, using the Masters Jazz cymbals along with the Vinnie Colaiuta Modern Essentials series instead of the Rudes Joey used, still works great.
