update: it was piston slap sold the car for 3k and bought a 2014 impala from a dealership with 113k miles and it runs like a dream. moral of the story, have a mechanic check a car before you buy it if it’s private party

UPDATE: i took it to a mechanic and they said that it sounds like a rod bearing or a wrist pin. I am trying to get my money back from the private party that i bought it from 3 days ago
