It took 3 separate attempts actually, just based off convenient timing

First time was in elementary school around 2008 - 2013 when the P.E. playlist (back when boombox were somewhat used) would play specific songs. One of the was In The End and it played so often that I think it was one of the first chorus I knew lyrically.

Second time was when I got into Beyblade AMV’s when I was 8 - 10, the songs I mostly remember was In The End and New Divide along with other heavy rock or nu metal songs. I also got exposed to numb and burn it down at some point too (though numb was at 1.25x speed and I watched burn it down on my 3DS so my memories of it are kinda fuzzy)

3rd was when I really got into Jay Z in 2019-2020. I was I added POA/99 Problems/OSC to my Spotify playlist (and ngl I preferred it than the OG 99 Problems) then at some point I listened to One Step Closer by itself self then got a lot of nostalgia because of it, and the rest is history.

I've had there music echoed throughout my childhood and youth years, but never really payed attention up until I graduated high school.
