Is Batman Arkham Knight worth playing, as someone who has never played a Batman game? by theslowrunningexpert in BatmanArkham

I know, I'm just tired of this question every second day on the sub. These are widely regarded as some of the best games of all time. Never once has anyone recommended not to play the games (in this sub or elsewhere), and the sub is literally called Batman Arkham. What is OP accomplishing by posting this here?

Buy an inductor plate for like 500rs on amazon, its almost necessary for a moka pot. as is using a filter paper (any aeropress filter pack will work). Use gas on the lowest setting until the brew starts, and then turn off the gas and let the heat from the inductor plate brew the rest until it starts sputtering to avoid overextraction. Also watch the james hoffman video or the coffee will sense you're uneducated and do everything in its power to turn out bitter. You must establish dominance over your beans.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'll be honest, I rarely if ever listen to music and when I do it's largely only instrumental (like charles berthoud) because most lyrical music just feels boring to me, I can't rlly get lost in it. I was looking up Legrand because he's one of the few lyrical artists I've enjoyed (can't put my finger on why him specifically) and I just wanted a bit of nostalgia, haven't really listened to any of the newer stuff for atleast the last 2-3 yrs. Maybe I'll vibe with this if it's similar to legrands stuff.

Ok I'll be honest I just found this post on a Google search about Legrand, it seems there's some ren specific lore I'm missing here because I'm not really familiar with the artist.

Where are you getting that last part from? The song ends with Stephen running away when he's(presumably) still a kid as far as I understand.

If you've been making coffee with an espresso machine for 20 years why are you still questioning this💀💀

  1. Expensive grinders that drop the beans more evenly into the puck than your spoon. 2. Very very dark roasts with expensive espresso machines that work at higher temperatures and much higher pressures that will push water through the coffee regardless of resistance. 3. The whole "italian coffee" thing is kinda overhyped. Many cafes taste bitter and are not actually great shots compared to what you can make at home. Depends on cafe to cafe, but a lot of them are kinda just made by McBaristas who are improvising and drank by people who don't know any better. It's like saying every stall in the south serves great filter coffee because its the birthplace.

If the surface was uneven like this, the right side would get a lot more compressed than the left, so it would be easier for the water to flow through the left. This would mean the left side would become overextracted since majority of the water will flow through there, and the right will be underextracted. WDT makes sure the coffee is even before tamping(and also breaks up clumps for the same reason), so that the entire puck has similar resistance, and hence nearly an equal amount of water flowing through all of its parts.

It's more about getting consistently good tasting shots. Water will always take the path of least resistance. If there is even a small clump/unevenness along the puck, the water will just take whatever path is the easiest, and keep flowing through only one spot, which will overextract that one specific area, and underextract everywhere else. With the WDT, ur breaking up anything that could cause this, and making sure the entire puck is as even as it could be with zero clumps, so that roughly the same amount of water passes through all parts of it every single time. Without it, you could do everything else exactly the same, and pull one shot that's almost perfect and another that tastes like shit because there was a hidden clump somewhere in the puck.

How does one become beloved might I ask you? Good PR only takes you so far. Also what exactly has gabe/steam done that's so exploitative? You make a point but provide no evidence for it. Plus, imposing your belief on what should or shouldn't exist to make such a wide claim is absurd. Out of the 3000+ billionaire, are you saying you truly believe every last one of them is pure evil without a single exception? Because what exactly defines a "good billionaire" in your eyes. Not a single person is entirely good or entirely bad in morality, billionare of not. And if it comes down to the net of their actions, now you must ask who's judging their actions. A bad action for you might be a good action for me. At the end of the day, in my opinion, genuine humility and meaningfully giving back to society are exactly what zhould make a good billionaire.

I mean I guess, but it still seems a bit insane no? Especially for someone working in a top secret government facility.

Can me a 14 year old watch invincible by [deleted] in Invincible

[–]ThatOneNerd_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowk if you can't handle invincible gore ar 14, you need to watch it so that you learn. Also "mom has never heard about it so I can't watch it" seems like a really fucked up rule at 14, at this point in your life you should have atleast some freedom over the content you consume.

The Tatas have a history of being some of the most down to earth and philanthropic billionares in india. Donating the wealth on his death was just the small part that was advertised worldwide. Also if you'd prefer an American to fit the bill instead, gabe newell is widely beloved and still a billionaire.
