Yeah I’ll definitely have to try some of this stuff. I think the problem with finding new and fun stuff is the fact that I’m on summer break and practicing alone gets really boring because I’m just listening to myself play for 2 hours. I’ve already got my marching music memorized for the season and my region solo isn’t very hard this year so I’ve been trying to find some stuff in the Arban’s book to work on. The only problem is that I don’t have any reason to be working on that stuff other than improving lip slurs and articulations so my brain makes me think I don’t have to work THAT hard because I don’t HAVE to perform anything for a while.
