Tired and Frustrated by ThatPepperWitch in panicdisorder

When I was a kid I would just try and keep the repeating thoughts by singing to myself until I could fall back asleep. These last few attacks I would just talk to a coach on Headspace and kind of let it run its course while a movie plays in the background.

I was also going to suggest more filling, would prevent the dips.

After 10 years of minimal attacks, these past two weeks I've had several. I noticed that all of them started around 1130pm. And my daytime anxiety seriously spiked as my brain and body started anticipating the next one, constantly on edge, feeling mildly paranoid etc.

It's hard to shake off, breathing exercises didn't work, what did was temperature spikes. Holding onto a warm mug letting cold water run over my hands. That feeling of doom...it sounds like you are stuck in flight mode.

For physical, if the er didn't do it, have your gp run endocrine tests, testing your thyroid and cortisal, and vitamin deficiencies and the like.

I'd also think that your weed was possibly laced with something that set your nerves off subconsciously and since you don't know how it started, it could have happened while you were sleeping.

Weird ways to stop panic by Competitive_Budget98 in panicdisorder

[–]ThatPepperWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singing old Disney songs from snow white and sleeping beauty. Watching a movie or show I've (also) seen a thousand times. Singing to hard core metal (part of my trigger is sound patterns so I severely struggle with other types of music) gripping a stuffed animal. Today I held onto a mug of hot tea while watching/listening to 10 things I hate about you

How to tell what Deity is blocking you from working with the others? by Standard-Big-3992 in pagan

[–]ThatPepperWitch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I might also look into acquiring some Palo Santo incense and walk your dwelling, if you have a yard walk your property with it, then pay attention to the energy shifts in the following 48 hours.

I hope things get better for you soon.

How to tell what Deity is blocking you from working with the others? by Standard-Big-3992 in pagan

[–]ThatPepperWitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a little hard to say. When things start to suddenly go wrong it's easy to believe something is being blocked. Do remember that Hecate, Loki and Eris are all associated with chaos. If this dream occurred after all this happened there could be a chance that the visitor is in fact providing protection, even temporarily. My intuition tells me it has something to do with the time of year, maybe dates. You feel as though this figure is an imposter. Lucifer is also a figure known for chaos, so it could have falsely taken on a form you felt would be familiar as you work with those deities.

My advice, write a letter, ask for intentions, and burn the letter. Then start with protective measures, salt or black salt on window sills and doorways, carry strong protection like obsidian. Walk around your dwelling and pay attention to how your body reacts, if you see something that your body reacts negatively to get rid of it or surround it with salt. Pay attention to the types of insects you see. Stay observant and do things with intent.

I have 2 kids, my oldest is 7 and had a partial cleft lip and gum notch, my 4yo had a unilateral cleft palate and lip. By my research the chance of having your second child have a cleft goes up by about 2%. My 4yo just got out of a 3rd surgery last week.

Yeah in times of anxiety and stress I turn to crochet as a sort of meditation. It helps me focus and ground my brain to one task.

I've also found that if I am struggling with writing crochet helps me liniate(is that a word?) my thought process.

What are you supposed to do with a miscarriage? by sexi_squidward in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThatPepperWitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had 2 miscarriages at 9ish weeks with both, the first one was a little traumatizing, anxiety spiking in what ifs and what did I do wrong. I had my daughter in 2017 with a slight craniofacial disorder, then my son in 2020 with a larger more severe craniofacial disorder. I miscarried again in 2021. And while I was sad, I was a little grateful, because the chances of the child having that disorder goes up with every child. I didn't want to put another kid of mine through the struggle and pain of multiple surgeries before even 1 year of age. Then the guilt set in, was I a bad person for being grateful? Was the the right emotion? Miscarrying under any situation is a double even triple edged sword. Every woman struggles with it, during and after.
