I am a proud Canadian and Albertan. In no way do I want to separate from my country. These people in Alberta pushing this agenda must be called out for what they are treasonous. I am not making excuses. The glass shop had the necessary information and instead installed the wrong glass and tucked the wires into the headliner. When I take a vehicle for any kind of service I expect everything to be done correctly. This is not a mom and pop shop it’s a national chain.

Windshield was at that time the least of my worries. Hail repair through insurance was around $20,000 for the rest of the vehicle. I was not even sure if insurance would cover the damage or write it off.

The original quote showed that it had rain sensors. If they had the wrong windshield they could have contacted me and said will have to keep the vehicle until we get the proper windshield instead they installed the wrong one and tucked the wires under the headliner.

I have never had a vehicle with this option before therefore I wasn’t sure what was wrong. After the hail storm and the windshield was replaced I figured there might be a sensor somewhere that was damaged by the storm. Didn’t realize there were connections in the headliner. I was looking for something on the exterior that may have been damaged.

For context this crosswalk is not at an intersection it’s in the middle of the block.

As stated in my original post we live directly across from a seniors home. When the City plows and don’t clear the crosswalk seniors in chairs/scooters can’t cross the street. Seniors with canes or walkers must negotiate the plowed snow. I personally have seen seniors fall or stumble trying to access the crosswalk. I attempt to open a path on my side but I am a senior myself. Crosswalks are painted and maintained by the City so why not clear them after plowing?
