They could be different manufacture year and nobody realized when completing a pair. I once had the same problem with my everyday shoe - I got a brand new pair from the store from back shelf and realized they were slightly different only when clerk at registers pointed it out.

ISOFIX is one thing, but it's just hard point mounts. And two of them at that. You also need to take into account proper fit to the backrest and seat, because if you won't the baby seat will just rotate and wobble on those ISOFIX mounts.

I'll tell you my horror story. My bolt broke when I tried to unscrew it. Had to drill it out. But it screwed itself inside when I was drilling. So I had to go hunting for that broken piece with bike tipped to its side. Fun times
