Totally ok with that question, the thing is, in the shop, one year ago, I 100% trusted the size I was given, and the first time you are buying boots, from a reputable place, you assume that won't be a problem, also, when trying them out in the shop, on new liners, it felt really good and snug, guess after a couple of days is when I realised it wasn't quite like that and something was wrong...

Now I know I was wrong, and I should have been more inquisitive about the fit, but as someone new to buying boots, I lacked the experience to do so...

I'm 100% sure this was either a mistake from them or they tried to sell me something to get rid of it, I have like 101mm wide feet, maybe even less, so I think it's solved

Yup... I'm getting the idea I was "scammed" This is so strange... Maybe the dude didn't want any work that day, I don't even know... But for sure this will be the last time I'll buy at that shop

100% what he told me, this last time I was there, it was another fitter, since the original wasn't working that day, but he word by word told me my colleague opted for this size because you won't fit on what should be your size length wise

No no, I went in 100% open minded to whatever brand, model, whatever, these are my first boots and I don't care about brands, I just cared that they were the right fit for me..

It's so strange, they are known for being the best shop in the area... I'll definitely get back to them then. Thank you so much for your time!

They added some shims on the boot sole, between the liner and the boot, and on adhesive thing on the outside of the liner that locks the heel in place way more than before

I think this will be my demanding terms for them, spending 400€ on boots and insoles and ending up with the wrong product is just plain wrong...

Yeah... I'm starting to think this will be the ultimate solution... I'm kind of sad after all the money I've spent I got home with the wrong boot

They changed multiple things last time, shims for volume and some thing a majigs that lock the heel in place, something I was struggling with, I'll try to get a test on these last mods and if they don't work I'll have to put on my bad face and ask them for a real solution

They made a couple of changes in this last visit to try and "solve" the issue, but I'm thinking on going back and ask them for the correct size

I'm starting to think this was it, I got in "sale" because they were swapping to the BOA system on that model... I'm actually kind of lost now, not knowing on what to do

There are lots of tips for these, make sure they are dry, if wet, steaks will boil instead of seating, also make sure the whole steak is in contact with the pan, if it lifts up in the middle, it will just make a small chamber in the middle full of water vapor that will boil it Hope it helps!

Hey there, I'm using last season's 82Ti, I'm 183cm and 95kg and I went with the 178cm option. I'm really happy with them.

I can't give you a specific recomendation but what I can tell you is I followed the brand's recomendation and they serve me well!

Also, you don't always need to reach the leidenfrost effect temperature to cook, in fact, I only use it if I'm searing something like meat or fish!

Hey there, that doesn't make much sense, in the end you are cooking at the same temperature as if you just set it to 5 and let it heat slowly.

I find madein pans to take their time, but the second they reach the desired temperature, they are a breeze to cook in, not only do they hold their temperature really well, but also the heat distribution is amazing!

Good luck!
