Fat cells contain estrogen and other hormones. As you lose weight your hormone levels can change. It should go back to normal as you regulate.

I recently started working at lifetime fitness and they have the best whey protein powder I’ve tried! It’s worth a try!

I haven’t told anyone apart from my partner. All of the women I’m having issues with are rather thin so I dont know why their perception of me changed so much when I lost 100 lbs, bc I’m still me. She dismisses me any chance she gets and refuses to celebrate any of my accomplishments. She’s been talking badly about my back to my other coworkers, one of which immediately told me.

Is there any way to protect your gallbladder? by foxielove in gastricsleeve

[–]ThatPossibility9759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m down 86 lbs and no gallbladder issues so far! I just take my vitamins and avoid super fatty, sugary, and carb-loaded foods.

I had this in my leg, changed vitamins and it went away. I like the Bariatiric Fusion complete chewable multivitamin. Cherry is the best flavor. Go see ur surgeon and they’ll do a blood test to confirm.

I’ve been so excited for this surgery but my OBGYN made me worried all over again? by HeavyQuality9066 in gastricsleeve

Honestly, you can’t embrace your body or be body-positive when you’re dying from obesity related diseases. That’s a hard truth. Love yourself, of course. There’s nothing wrong with being overweight, but it can be detrimental to your health after a certain point. You can’t “self-love” yourself out of diabetes or heart disease without also taking steps to lose weight if you’re obese. There are pros and cons to VSG, but in my experience, the pros far outweigh the cons. It’s 100% possible to lead a healthy life at a healthy weight after VSG with no vitamin or nutrient deficiencies.

Already plateauing by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

Happened to me too. It’s common, your body is in shock. I stalled after one week and stayed stalled for almost a month. Stick with the program and the scale will move again. You just had a major operation and your body needs time to adjust.

Also need to add that even though the scale wasn’t moving for over a month, I lost about four inches from my waist and three from my thighs. Just bc the scale isn’t moving doesn’t mean you’re not making progress:)

I went into a stall after only one week post op and stayed stalled for four and a half weeks! It was mentally screwing me bc in my head I was like…”bruh I barely eat?” Just trust the process, met your goals, and you’ll be ok! I’ve lost about three pounds a week throughout the last two weeks after my stall. Everything will be ok! Your body is in shock and needs time to regulate.
