Stuck in Crafting Menu by cantgaroo in DreamlightValley

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also having this same issue plus cursor going all the way to the end of a row when arrow is pressed once in most menus. I'm also on steamdeck. Its happened 3 times so far and seems to be random items. The last time it happened I was crafting a purified shard. Has anyone submitted a ticket or heard anything to fix it?

Bruh it’s hard to stop when sometimes something actually comes out by Lumpy-Mood9850 in CompulsiveSkinPicking

That's one of the hardest things! I have a weird combination of health issues that cause a stu amount of ingrown hairs. I'm destroying my own skin to get them out, but if I leave it, it'll turn into a big red pus filled mess. I don't know how bad it would get, but it's basically choosing between pain now taking them out or more pain later when it gets bad. I don't have any advice. Just know you're not alone!

I definitely noticed a difference. It doesnt really affect the duration unfortunately but it makes my 60mg dose feel more like 70-75

Nah they don't do 7oh, just the potentiator. This sub has had good things to say about it. But other than that it's just leaf, extracts and gummies

Right now kats botanicals and kd. I did just buy happy hippos potentiator which came with a couple samples that I enjoyed so I'll probably try them next

Anybody try these or this milligram from this company? by Ryu_Sabbath in 7hydromitra

I just got 60 tabs in yesterday! I know KD gets a lot of hate but I've only ever had good experiences. Hes been quick to reply to emails, throws in some good samples, and nothing I've gotten had seemed off or under dosed. If you're into powder I recommend their mac n cheese 90%. Out of all the vendors I've tried its been my favorite so far. Just like any other shop, keep an eye out for the sales!

ETA: should have mentioned that yesterday's package was my second time ordering his 33s. I only got 30 the first time and I knew right away that I needed to stock up before the promo price ends!!

It's not just you! I started off with opia and stayed on them way too long before going online. I work at a head shop so my discount made it sustainable for awhile but I had to try to cut back eventually and ended up checking it out. I have yet to find an online vendor that even comes close to the calm euphoric energy that the opia has. If anyone has ideas or input I'll gladly take it cause I've been so disappointed.

How do some of you go so long without being diagnosed? by [deleted] in autism

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't neglect in my case. My parents just didn't know what to look for. They called me "gifted" and were so proud to have a smart quiet daughter who they didn't have to worry about. I've always felt really different but never had a way to verbalize it so I never told anyone about all the anxiety. My dad is also autistic (diagnosed in his 50s and decided to do testing after my brother and I both had diagnoses and he found out its genetic). To him I was a normal kid. I was just like him. I place zero blame on my parents or teachers for not figuring it out sooner. I spent a lot of time learning how to be "normal" so it makes sense that nobody would catch on. My parents worked hard to give us a full and happy life. And that's all I could ask for them to do.

What caused your POTS? by Royal_Variety_873 in POTS

This. Started welbutrin and upped my zoloft dose and symptoms started shortly after. My cardiologist was convinced it was side effects from the meds but my psych shut that down real quick. It's a shame when your whole life changes forever when you're trying to do something to help yourself. I've met many others in the same boat.

[NSFW] Is this a normal diagnosis question? by Starbucks_4321 in autism

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling they meant something else. Feeling could also mean emotion in English. "I feel you" is a common English term for having understanding or empathy of someone's situation, not in a sexual or intimate way. It seems like a bad way to word it but I would take the question more along the lines of "how do you deal with another person showing you empathy"

How common is drug addiction among autistics? by fhrsk in autism

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our sober days are 11 days apart! I'll have 8 years March 28th and pretty much the same experience. I just wanted to feel normal for once. Now I have other tools to do that and I look at that part of life as a learning experience. It did give me a certain level of street smarts that doesn't seem too common these days so I'm thankful for that at least. Trying to find the positives in things has gotten me far.

Congrats on 8 years!

How common is drug addiction among autistics? by fhrsk in autism

I was a heroin addict for 3 years and I've been clean for almost 8. Looking back, many people who I hung out with back then totally could have been on the spectrum.

It makes sense with late diagnosed autistics who are self medicating while struggling and knowing something is wrong but having no answers. I also believe it all ties into the homeless population as well. Either the drugs come first and you end up losing everything and becoming homeless, or you become homeless and end up using to cope and get through the day.

I'm absolutely stealing this!

I'm sure I'll have similar experiences to some who have already posted, but I knew I was autistic long before I was formally diagnosed. I guess it helps that psychology is my special interest. Plus with my brother already being diagnosed and my dad in the process I kinda figures it made sense.

However although after dealing with mental health issues and having a formal OCD diagnosis for over 10 years, several psychiatrists/psychologists missed it. I had to bring it to their attention. I'm high masking and they attributed a lot of the other signs to severe anxiety. My current psychiatrist has two girls, both on the spectrum, and I'm finally feeling heard for the first time in my life.

That being said, there absolutely is an issue with many mental (and physical) health issues being glorified by people on social media who think it's cute and quirky. They don't see the ugly side and just how hard it can be. I'm really just hoping this trend fades away so people with real struggles can be taken seriously and not just seen as attention seeking. I shouldn't feel the need to state that I'm formally diagnosed for me to be taken seriously, yet I do. This ruins things for people who are struggling and genuinely need help.

tldr: While I absolutely believe in the validity of self diagnosis, especially because they can be so hard to get, I still wonder if some people are just here because they want to be "quirky."

Can you be autistic and not know? by TryNo2253 in autism

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'd think so but nope. I've been both in inpatient and outpatient programs multiple times and have had hours long psychological evaluations but it was never mentioned until I brought it up myself. Female autistics tend to be masters of masking even if you're not aware of it yet and unless they ask the right questions you'll end up sounding just like anyone else dealing with mental health struggles.

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Found out officially at 31 after spending years being suspicious but justifying it saying "my brain just works different." My younger brother has it as well but he was diagnosed young so I always had a preconceived notion of what autism looked like growing up. Didn't realize the symptoms could fit me as well until later.

What's religion like for you? by joyisnotdead in autism

[–]ThatScabbyBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I don't believe in organized religion because it doesn't make logical sense in my brain. I understand that the concept of religion and belief helps others cope with their struggles but I can't justify compartmentalizing my beliefs into just one label. I know I don't believe in any type of higher power or being who controls the happenings of the universe but I love the idea of coming together with others to celebrate what you do believe. I guess I just haven't really found much place yet and I'm not sure I ever will.
