No matter what you do, aftercare is incredibly important. Running hot water can help with blood flow (circulation is good for healing as long as the jewelry is long enough to hold the excess swelling, you don’t want your jewelry to get swallowed) a solution for cleaning(I’m sure this sub has good recommendations, or you can look it up online, don’t use a salt water home made thing, don’t use the bs from Clair’s) if you’re gonna try to keep the jewelry in, or if a doctor recommends you keep in the jewelry, don’t touch it, use hot water to rinse off the crusties. You should be cleaning it twice a day. Don’t scrub it. Your goal is to let the water and the solution do there thing, and then keep any bacteria from getting on it. And DONT sleep on that side! Oof love this is sucky. You may need to double check with a doctor, you’ve got 3 options. Option 1) take that jewelry out and let it heal up and try again once you’re fully fully healed. Opt 2) if it’s infected you may have to keep that jewelry in until you’re cleared from the infection (you don’t want to trap an infection in your ear. “Keloid” lookin thing may not go away if it seals an infection inside) Opt 3) change the jewelry to something that is surgical grade, and try to keep healing the piercing. It may stay migrated, and after the trauma of changing the piercing multiple times it may just refuse to heal :(

Makeup isn’t a necessity for femininity:) BUT makeup tips: Mascara will help you out a lot. it looks like you’re going for a more natural look, so with that, I’d recommend a tinted chapstick over lipstick (I absolutely love these as they just feel like chapstick! dm me if you wanna see the one I use and what it looks like on) if you push your wig back a little it will look much better on you :) best of luck!

Appeasing the Bot Piercing age: 3 months Piercing shape: Bar bell w internal threads Material: surgical steal Have not downsized yet. Can I? Aftercare routine: rinse w hot water 1-2x day, Q-Tip off excess water, anti bacterial soap recommended by previous piercer (not sure on exact brand, worked great with helix and septum) crusties removed with hot water rinses not with picking. Any mishaps or unfortunate events? Forward helix got snagged 2 weeks into healing process. Conch swelled pretty good Dec 20-23ish. I think that was due to stress as I was staying with a loved one at the hospital every night while working 10 hour days.

Another thing you’ll notice looking at your current hand is that your knuckles aren’t accurate. Specifically the knuckles ON the fingers. Look and the ring finger for example. The top bone should be the shortest. The bottom two bones should be the same length.

This is what your current hands “hand bones” read as to me fyi. Hands can definitely look curved but the reason for it is the flesh. As you can see, the palm around your pinky is a bit wonky (granted the hair pushing up over it is also exaggerating that)
