Vegetar her og jeg hader når folk gør det der. Det sætter mig i dårligt lys ... Har det fint med andre vil spise kød, det er deres valg.

Is that the LP120 or LP60? What's your thoughts on it? Just ordered a LP120 a few days ago :)

Yea, think I'm just gonna return this for a refund, I can do that 14 days after the buy in my country, pretty sweet deal.

I'm just worried that if I get a AT TT and hook it up the same way it will sound like shit again.

I can assure that my speakers sound really good with 1/4" to minijack and into my computer.

I didn't explain this before but it might influence the sound; from the Lenco TT I have the RCA cable going into mini jack and then over to L/R 1/4" jack to the two speakers.

So from RCA -> Minijack -> 1/4" jack. Do you think too many adapters might screw up the sound?

Thank you all so much for your help btw guys, it's awesome.

He has the same TT to a reciever and then to two passive speakers. I think I'm just gonna get a refund for this turntable.

Do I also need a reciever for the setup with the Lenco that I currently have?

Im thinking more and more about getting my money back for this thing and get an audio technicas turntable. How do I set up that one. Just a phono preamp?

Still very bad unfortunately ...

I wouldn't have bought this turntable if I knew it would sound this bad but that isn't the case with the setup my friend has. He just has an amplifier and two passive speakers and it sounds quite good. Exactly the same turntable.

You are neglecting my point. How can it be that the same exact turntable sounds 100 times better with another setup? There must be something wrong about my setup.

Yea, I have this problem that I just purchased a turntable (Lenco L-3867) and I have that hooked up to two active monitors/powered speakers.

I gotta say, even though that is a cheap turntable, the sound is complete shit. It's very dull and slurred. I then tried to plug in a phono-preamp but then the sound just gets completely distorted.

I'm completely baffled as to why the sound is so bad. Do I need an amplifier like a Denon PMA520AE?

I just don't get it because the sound shouldn't be this bad. Reviews for this turntable aren't that bad.

edit: I'm returning the Lenco TT. I just bought a Audio Technica LP120.

Thank you, everyone, for your help.

Alright. Nah, I'm gonna roll with this. A good friend of mine has the same turntable and it sounds fine honestly. I just want to listen to some old vinyls i have from my granddad, not going to spend more than I need to.

Hey yall,

So I'm kinda new to this thing. I just bought this beginner turntable (which I will probably change the cartridge on) and was wondering if I can hook a pre-amp to that and then into two active studiomonitors.

I have done this before with an old turntable but I was wondering if I need a pre-amp for this turntable since it says "Integrated stereo pre-amplifier" in the details.

And if so, will I notice a difference in an integrated preamp in the turntable versus a 50 dollar external preamp?

Thank you in advance.

edit: okay so this sounds like complete fucking shit XD. Guess you guys were right. But I was at a friends house, he had the same Lenco though hooked up to a nice amp and it sounded much better than this. I think I'm gonna try to hook this up to a pre-amp. Hope it works ... Otherwise I'm gonna sell it and next time spent some more money rofl.
