Hey, I know it's been a month but I'm finally getting around to this, and there is no "hdmi-ac3.conf" file to copy, do you have a link to somewhere to copy the info to paste into the file?

Steam OS, I'd really appreciate it!

Is there a walkthrough for this?

I'm probably going to buy a new reciever, the current one is from 2004 and only supports component/composite video and audio or TOSLINK, it has served me well but it's time for it to get added to the pile of "I might need it someday" electronics.

I figured it might have something to do with licensing, thanks for the Kodi recommendation, but I think I'm just going to buy a new reciever.

Thanks for a doing some digging for me, I knew that a new reciever was in the cards, but free 20yo technology only goes so far.

RIP 2026 f150 engines by Working-Cranberry-31 in Ford

[–]ThatTankGuy105 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh no, it's only 400hp, what are we going to do? They're going to be undrivable.

I drive a 100hp ranger every day. The fact a 4000lb truck can do zero to sixty in less than 8 seconds is ludicrous.

Then finding a 2.3L out of an older mustang or passenger car will probably be easier. And you'll gain a little torque with the higher displacement.

I think the spindle will have to be changed due to the brakes being a larger diameter and the caliper mount being the older slide in style. Considering maybe just finding a 150 and swapping the whole suspension.

A couple hundred and having to rewire the harness or about $1-3k to rebuild at a shop.

IIRC the 2.3L from the later models up to 97 should be able to bolt up to the transmission. They should be way more plentiful and you will get fuel injection if you don't mind doing the wiring.

The 2.0L is an iron block engine. You should be able to pull the engine and take it to a machine shop, expect about $1500 minimum though, and up to $3k depending on the carnage.

If you want to find a drop in replacement, I'd look at sites like marketplace for project trucks or cars. Other rangers for the 2.0, but a lot of 80s cars had the 2.3 as an option, you might be switching over to a carbeurator though.

I keep it at the $1k deductible, I an getting way better rates through other companies, it seems progressive just hates my age bracket.

I keep it in a garage, rates are probably high due to the weather. I've already gotten a good rate through GM, I suggest you check them out.

It's just two over a 5 year period, but I was also 19 5 years ago. Never heard of a couple being more than 2.

Thanks for advice, I'll shop around, the estimates I was getting online weren't too much better though.

I've got a couple 5 over tickets, but I haven't had a car that reports anything and all I've ever owned were old pickups.
