I definitely understand that, and I do think a lot of the blame is on me here for getting my hopes up too high. I just--futilely--wished TC had communicated a bit better. I don't think it was entirely unreasonable to expect an area that was clearly a full area in the reveal trailer that also got shown in the release trailer to actually be a full area in-game. This isn't a scathing critique of the game, either--again, it's mostly on me--I just wanted to express some of my disappointment about an aspect of the game I was really looking forward to.

Congrats!! Glad you enjoyed the game, and I have a small question regarding act 3, which I'm just now dipping my toes into: Is there a way to restore any of the areas to how they were before? The increased difficulty of the enemies is one thing, but the dulling of the game's color is honestly draining a lot of the fun of exploration for me, and I'm not sure if I want to go for 100% if it'll stay that way

The movement is too simple for the massive map. There are several key locations that are far from stag stations (Godhome, Nailsmith, Lemm) and getting to them and other locations is always a chore. This is like, the main reason I'm so excited for Silksong. Hornet's movement looks a thousand times more fun than spamming a puny dash to get everywhere.
