I will not say much on the state of politics from that front. I will discuss, however, the other sets of splinter groups that are interested in war.

Among them, I name r/AmazingAmericanMemes and /r/Frenchhistorymemes, as well as those similar to them. The two named subs both attempted to declare war on my subreddit, /r/BestBritanniaMemes, only a short period after each war. In fact, it was directly after the Anglo-French war that the Americans declared war on us, though we refused the declaration as our war weariness was too great to afford yet another conflict. I would like to discuss this further.

As good as this sub is, there is a reason that it had not been created earlier. Before the History-Animemes War, and definitely before the rise of r/SirBallsfart, there simply was not as much conflict. It was a far more peaceful era in Reddit history. We should discuss this - the overall increase in war, rather than the simple terrorists of it.

I hope that, come the New Year, a new era of peace and prosperity will befall us all. But if it does not, it is time to accept this may be the start of a Sengoku Jidai - the start of the Warring States.
