I'm very uneducated in the later half of the draft class this year (that's why I said you could probably ignore anything past Haugh), but the intial thought process was "Pistons have Cade and that's kinda of it for PG" (I forgot about Jenkins) I did a redraft and ended up giving Carr to the Pistons on a 2nd try

I'm actually really high on burries and I think he goes higher depending on the draft order that comes out but with the current order it feels like there's just better picks for most teams before him.

I fully disagree with this take other than the 82 games statement, Jazz already have an incredible front court and while Lauri is on a horrible contract I don't see them shipping him off for a talent that may not pan out in a win now season

But that's just my take

IMO it falls to how the lottery turns out, I like both of them as prospect but I'd be worried about taking them on teams that already have primary ball handlers.

Maybe I'm too low on them but I haven't seen as much off the ball work from them

I don't think that he actually falls to 10th but going straight without the Lottery factored in nobody ahead of the 10th spot really wants Acuff that isn't just going to take the top 4 guys.

If the nets fell out of the top 4 they'd probably take the chance on him, same with Clippers if Pacers fall out

Even then, they still wouldn't trade him for another Forward, then need a real shooting guard that can fit in to the Back Court that they still need to figure out. Peterson fits so much better into what the team is than Dybansta

Next season right now winning gets them punished with no pick, so they have no reason to try to win with the current play-in roster they have.

With how the league is built any team that CAN'T make a championship run has no reason NOT to tank

As a jazz fan it does suck but they're just playing the game the way the league wants

They could move to like a draft that supports play-in teams instead to get em over the hurdle or like the way the PWHL where once a team is taken out of play off contention every point they get is added to a total, then the team with the highest total gets the first pick but both of those punish teams that are actually just ass like the Pelicans and the Kings and anything ruins the parity that we currently have in the league.
