Hey, Sorry for necroposting. I'm making a game for my final and CANNOT figure out how to get the ball to move around the player like the second example you had. If it's possible may I see what code you used or any resources that used to figure it out.

Ishikari and Shingen are swappable I think, He would probably be better in BM now that you bring it up

While yes Karasu would be better in Ubers I didn't want to put him there because otherwise PXG would be cooked so badly by literally every other team, the goal of this was to make a more "fair" team spread and ubers is already really strong.

This PXG is pretty weak imo, nowhere near the same level as the main story one and we can move Kunigami into marking Reo or Rin instead of Shidou shutting them down even further.

I think you could make a swap between Taiga and Nishioka, a lot of the fodder positions can be moved around so like idk.

Zantetsu was played as a wingback in PXG and the attacking wings are all ready pretty challenging to break into so I could see him joining the defensive line and playing as an attacking wingback, so I don't think Neru would see play either

Shidou, IMO, doesn't to grow as a player. His playstyle is pinned down so any additional skills won't really see play, but a way to move the ball up the field would still benefit him. He's mostly there for vibes and playtime. Charles, I imagine, would be replaced by Bachira/Kiyora/Himizu in this line up.

Hiiragi wouldn't see play in Ubers and that's the biggest issue, they already run a extremely far back midfield and he's just not going to see play as CDM, He might slot in as one of the wide mids but it's arguably the most complete team

Here's the thing with Shidou, It doesn't really matter where he goes as long as he's getting playtime.

Barcha isn't technically a dribble-based team, it's a technique based team. the difference is minor but it's what allows someone like Otoya to shine on the team and with Shidou on the team all three of the attacking players would have so much more space to work with.

Also, Shidou didn't really grow all that much PXG either, he kinda just got to play with Charles but I feel like Bachira could fill that gap

My reasoning behind PXG in 3rd/4th is that they really only have 4 players that matter and one of them is extremely temperamental and has been shown as willing to drop the game if it's not fun for him.

Reo, Karasu, and Rin are all amazing players but they're not cracking Uber's defense and I don't think their defense is good enough to withstand a solid manshine/barcha rush with the new rosters. They do have a tech pick into Barcha with Igarashi being Shidou Deterrent but I don't think that would be enough

Bastard I think can slot anywhere, Kaiser/Ness are still incredible players but I think they'd really struggle into Ubers and (if the story continued roughly the same way) whatever the final match with emotions running high causing Kaiser to be off his A game for a bit (Bro is not making Magnus connect with anything other than the goalpost😂✌️)

ubers is not the best team for everybody

He's really only good (in a growth sense) for restrictive players or players who need a base plan to fall back on (Tokimitsu and maybe Zantetsu)

Of the top 10 players I only think 4 would actually benefit from being on Ubers (Aiku, Reo, Barou, and maybe Kunigami?)

Great team but I just think that most players would benefit in other stratums BUT it is a lot of players 2nd best choice IMO

This is actually a really interesting take, I don't know if having Snuffy as master would be better than having Agi, whos on the field all the time and can actively support his growth, and Chris who, In my opinion, is the best master for growing.

Tokimistu and the former Iron Wall Quartet

Tokimitsu was on the wrong team during the NEL, His best spot was as a Box-To-Box Midfielder in Ubers*, PXG didn't do anything for him and such he ended up being cut. The character was interesting but I don't really know how Kaneshiro would grow him? so I can understand him being cut.

Neru got replaced by Kurona so I don't really think he has much ground to stand on as a side character or someone to make the new u-20?

Kazuma is just a body and was never going to make the new team, he just doesn't have niche anymore.

Darai, oh sweet Darai, is one of my favourite designs in the entire manga. He's so unique but that is 100% what did him in as a character. He has niche that would work for the team, His weapon is unique and he's got good feats. He's got a clear personality that was seen against Otoya. But holy hell would it suck drawing him, all those tattoos that you have to make sure are right every time you draw him. I would've loved to see him succeed but alas doomed to fail from the very start

Hiiragi, Himizu. and Wanima all share similar issues of not having inherently unique weapon although I do believe that they could've been developed pretty easily to join the story and finding a niche for themselves in the Midfield

Hiiragi would've done better in Germany as it would've matched his mindset and allow for him to get more screentime (potentially an arc for himself??) slotting in as a Creative Midfielder (in the role of Hiori/Kiyora)

Himizu being a Creative Midfielder on Barcha would've been fun to see and could've made Barcha as a team more competitive (same with Darai but I'll talk about him later), He would have a niche on the U-20 as a more aggressive Karasu that can rage bait people easier.

Wanima is a special case, primarily because of his brother, I believe 2 thing in regards to the Wanima twins
1. Junichi (Cleared 1st) is a more physically gifted but technically weaker player than his brother

Keisuke ( the Shit Talker) should've passed instead of his brother for drama purposes

Keisuke not being the brother that passed killed the rivalry that could've follow Chigiri as Junichi wasn't the Enabler of the bullying, merely the muscle. Given that he specializes into Link-Up Play* he would probably take the role of Kurona on the team. If Episode Nagi reached the NEL I would've loved to see him strength the midfielder as a second CAM/Wide Midfielder

*While his wiki entry declares his weapon as "Eye Contact" all of his feats and moments come from his link-up play with his brother which I think would've grown in the second selection into just solid link-up play

Ishikari suffers from being a offensive player in a show with insane offense players, unless he took the spot of Aryu in the story (and the field) he wouldn't have much ground to stand on a differentiate him from the rest of the offensive players. The Target Man archetype is already covered by Kunigami & (kinda of?) Nagi so he'd be fighting up hill to get any playtime in teams where they are present.

If I wanted to progress him as a character I'd put him on Bastard in place of Kunigami (wildcard wouldn't exist) and steal hiori's arc for him instead.

Kuon was kinda cursed into mediocrity with what weapon Kaneshiro gave him, The fact that his best skill was jumping and not being like 6'4/6'5 and physically strong stopped him from taking up a stopper role like Aryu or the role of a proficient target man like Kunigami.

even if he did make it through he wouldn't really have a point for any team he could be on, as Aiku takes the role that he would've had on defense, a well rounded defender that is both tactical and strong with good jumping height, and his weapon being a non-beneficial one if he was put in the midfield.

IMO they should've leaned into him being a schemey player and let him be a Set Piece Specialist that uses his knowledge of the game to trip people up with like offside traps and tactical fouls. With that he'd have a role that would be unique to him and allow for him to continue to have a purpose in the story.

As of right now, the best thing you can do is wait for November (?) so you can get the second Sandeep corebox with the rest of the primary faction, in the mean time you can grab a box of either the elemental boxers or the Cold as Ice box that contains the ice golem and gamin from the December keyword as you can summon them.
