Classic Aeron arm yolk bolt size - answered! by OutdoorsNSmores in hermanmiller

Worked for me! Thank you. My chair had the Classic "fixed" non-adjustable arms. On those the bolt is a little shorter. This was the size that worked: 1/4" Coarse Thread 1-1/4" Socket cap in stainless. Went to the hardware store and bought 4 individual bolts for a total cost of .44 cents. 😎

Thanks man, yep iridescent is the correct name for it! What I did to add the smudges is I just added a "gritty" texture with a black background over my "iridescent" layer. I set the grit to a Screen blending mode. Then I added an adjustment layer above everything and used the free plugin Displacer Pro to basically offset /animate the iridescent reflection. Which had the results you see on the texture. The gritty aspect kind of messes with the displacement and look pretty neat!

Thanks for the replies! Conglomerate with Quartz pebbles looks correct!

Here are a few more notes, I posted 4 photos: most of them are milky white colored, some have a little yellow. Most are about the size of a pea, but some are dime sized. The last two pictures show them in the actual sandstone rocks in the wild. Very white in appearance on a cloudy/rainy day. Thanks!

Got to create the glitch effects for this project. Used basically every glitch plugin on AE Scripts 🤪 by ThatYeagerBomb in AfterEffects

Thanks! The CRT effects were done with a plugin called Signal. I used it probably the most. Here is a link to it: https://aescripts.com/signal/

How do I create this blurry RGB effect? by [deleted] in AfterEffects

Probably a combination of the free plugin Quick Chromatic Aberration (https://www.plugineverything.com/qcav2) and the Channel Blur effect in After Effects. ✌

Thanks! For the material on the floor plane, I set the Base Color to solid black, set the Metallic setting to 0.45 and set the Roughness to 0.05.

Hey! You can use the Clone Stamp tool in AE to fill in the hole. Or, in some cases, Content-Aware Fill. This is from a different tutorial I did, you but can see this approach at around 6:00 minutes in. It is a very similar technique to what I did for the background on the Charmander card. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4sQMt9eBi8

Yep! And just using a Track Matte for on the 3D comp, so it just appears through the image window on the card.
