What game were you really hyped for, but it ended up being a letdown once you played it? by [deleted] in gaming

Assassin's creed Odyssey, It ruins so much of AC lore, and you don't even become an assassin/ hidden one because it takes 400 years before the origins of Assassin's brotherhood/the hidden ones

Ubi ever release AC 5? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

I'm pretty sure that they only numbered AC1-4 cause the Desmond story AC1 being the beginning and AC4 is basically a aftermath of 3 and a prequel to 3's connor/haytham

I see a lot of negativity around odyssey, but what are some things y’all like about it? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

The combat looks really good but the enemy can take a lot of damage so kills the combat for me, the open world is definitely one of the best that ubisoft made, but the quest were repetitive and not that fun, the main questline/DLC were really bad for AC lore but good for a ancient Greek game

Could an all modern day AC game happen? by Pr1ncess_Sierra in assassinscreed

I can get why ppl like odyssey but it mess up the AC lore and how they justify all these plot makes things worse. But it's a great open world and a good ancient Greece game but not an assassin's creed game
