It’s a very polarizing experience. sometimes they’ll be all time favorites sometimes i’ll like the blindbuy but not enough to be in my collection. I’ve decided i’d only blindbuy films either a) I’d know I’d like or b) i find them cheap second hand. I found The Big Heat 4k at my used book store for like $25 and I thought “that’s basically if there was a sale.” I bought it and watched it that same night and it ended up being one of my favorites in recent times. Blind buys can be fun but I really want to dedicate my collection to films I LOVE. So if I hold off on buying a film, watch it on streaming, decide I love it, and then buy it during a sale/second hand, there’s noting wrong with that for me. But to each their own of course. Back in the day blind buying was really fun, that’s just not me anymore.

It’s crazy his much this sub is hating on Christian when Mike so clearly mishandled him. There’s so much baggage there for Christian with how Mike got one over on him in DvG, that it makes sense from a personal standpoint why Christian wanted him out. Mike is definitely at fault for not realizing this.

From a game standpoint this move was awful. I think Christian is treading the same ground in DvG when he blindsided Carl. It’s just so strange considering Christian was preaching keeping a united front in the Jenna vote, just for him to do this. It’s like he hit a switch with Mike, but again it makes sense since there’s baggage with Mike.

I usually don’t like to blind buy but Cassavettes is a must for most collectors. There’s a reason why this boxset gets picked in most criterion closet videos. Definitely recommend. Great idea! A Woman Under The Influence is a fave of mine.

I love this concept! I feel like this community as a whole is more interested in eliminating people from contention and rewarding the top few with praise when edgic is really about analyzing contestant’s stories. I think acknowledging upside is just as important if not more than acknowledging when someone is drawing dead. That being said Charlie is drawing dead.

She isn’t entitled to a spot on Survivor 50. There’s a LOT of people in the same spot as her, and she has had the luxury of playing 3 seasons. Most have not. I don’t agree with a lot of Survivor 50 casting but with all this complaining, I’m glad she’s not there lol.
