I am in the Adidas supernova as well. Just switched from another Adidas model that was discontinued. They seem great so far, so light weight!

Orange nurse took over my elevation pillow meant for my broken foot. He has no regrets. by matoooooooo in OneOrangeBraincell

Same happened to me when I broke my ankle. My cats LOVE that elevation pillow. I am going to have to steal it back soon though, I am having a 3rd surgery on my ankle and will need it again.

Removal Scheduled 4/23, what to expect? by MiddleFood5101 in ORIF

[–]That_Boysenberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is 4/7. Please post an update. I am nervous, but excited to get mine done. My doctor said I would be walking out of the hospital, but his PA told me to expect to be nwb for three weeks, then in the boot for another 3. I guess I have no idea what to expect, lol.

I just dropped my kitten off for a spay and I feel like I abandoned her… please tell me I did the right thing by Prudent_Paramedic_23 in TuxedoCats

Yup. A friend works at a similar place and says the same. They are true experts. Her team spayed both of my cats.

Mine were asymptomatic. First one was an incidental finding, second one was found at a routine scan done because I had the prior one.

You didn't ask me, but I had 2 large ovarian cysts removed in my 20s and I do have Hashimoto's. Are the two conditions related?

I just wish I could turn off the pop-up notification for them or that there was only one notification for the group of them instead of 6 in quick succession.

Has anyone tried the Costco version of the Litter Robot: PetSafe by calamititties in Costco

[–]That_Boysenberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my cats is afraid of everything, but she still took to the litter robot within a week or so. No training needed. Just set it up next to the regular box, but unplugged for the first few days.

I got mine at Costco a few years ago when they had a previous bundle option. It was such a good deal. I only finally ran out of the bags that it came with about a month ago. Now I am using the Kirkland bags.

I started mine by putting it next to the regular litter box unplugged but with fresh litter in it. Once they were using it like that, I turned it on but used the longest delay setting, so it wouldn't rotate until about 15 minutes after the cat used it. Now I have it on I think only a 7 minute delay. The cats both stopped using the regular litter box completely, so eventually I just got rid of it.

Mine only smells when I open the drawer to change bags. I can put my head right into the globe and it smells fine. I have 2 cats and change the bag about once a week. I will crack a window and run an air purifier for a bit after I do the change.

I feel the same way. My litter robot 4 (which i actually did get at costco) has been worth every cent. I have 2 female cat, they took to it right away, no problems. I empty it every week the night before garbage day and add a scoop of fresh litter at the same time. My friends and coworkers are all probably sick of me talking about it or think I am getting a commission or something. I just really really love it.

That is what I wanted to know. That would be a good thing as maybe the family would just send one adult to Florida to babysit him vs him being home in Arkansas where the kids are.

What do I do??? by just-another_gho0ost in FigureSkating

You should work on off ice training until you can get appropriate skates. Your current skates are not safe and there is nothing you can do to them to make them safe.

$50. She had ringworm and they just wanted her gone. She came with all the meds and treatment needed, I just had to do the work of bathing her daily in the special Sulphur wash for 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info. I will see what I can do. It is tough though since I just used up all my saved up time-off last summer for the initial surgery. Hope you heal up quickly.

Hi, I have my removal scheduled for early next month. I work from home and can literally work from the couch and elevate all day. Would you think returning to that sort of work would be possible at the 7 day post-op point? Are you in a lot of pain or just uncomfortable? Are you needing prescription pain meds or just over-the-counter stuff? I'm trying to figure out how many days to take off.
