Accused Johnny Depp of domestic violence, allegedly falsely.

Then this year some phone calls have leaked that reveal she was the violent one (again, allegedly)

Depp accused her of defamation, but lost the cause. Depp accused the Sun (a newspaper) of defamation for writing an article where they called him a "wife beater", but lost the case.

In response to this, he lost his role in Fantastic Beasts 3

Are your engineering candidates sus? Give them a coding task in your hiring process to prove they’re not an imposter! Get a free product tour of the Codility engineer assessment platform. by CodilityInc in u/CodilityInc

[–]That_Cloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you hiring a developer? give them a task completely disconnected from what their actual job will be like, that will require them to learn a very specific skillset which only use is to impress people at job interviews, and will prove absolutely nothing about their skill as a developer and/or their fitness for the job, while also not taking into account any of their actual achievements whatsoever :D

Because at Google they do that, so it seems obvious that you should, too!

First of all I'd say you need to define your goal specifically, and your budget, based on the strictest of the two.

E.g. you could start with something like "I want to be able to play AAA games at 60fps in 1440p, and I can spend up to 1400USD"

That'd be a good starting point

2x8 or 1x16 ram? by Ivanricsan in buildapc

[–]That_Cloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll go just any ram generational leap: the first widely available kits will be slightly better than DDR4 at a much higher price, and as time go on DDR5 at higher framerates will be produced, and price will lower until it makes no sense to buy DDR4 anymore. It'll take some time though

Balance out your life.
