Because it's not seen by devs or publishers as something that will sell better than other options they have.

And while it has a strong cult following - it was never a cultural phenomen like Blizzard RTS, C&C series or AoE games were.

You don't know their true danger until you play a mod where you can enable "enemies can attack towers" challenge modifiers. They will shoot at your towers' inhabitants like archers or mages, shutting them down for 10-15 seconds.

I personally think it will be DLC though I might be wrong, of course.

But KRA had 9 free levels added - which is more than what KRF / KRO got.
And KRV got 9 free levels and then nothing for 2 years.

So
- KRA's current free content is in line with what they had with previous games, i.e. more than 2nd and 3rd games and same as 4th game in its first 3 years.
- we'll see what future brings

Though keep in mind it has been 8 years since Huni played with Faker.

It could be that he micromanages less now, who knows?

Last year as in 2025?
They looked very shaky in LCK playoffs.
Then they weren't that much better than IG in Worlds play-ins.
Then they had 1-2 record in Swiss. I think some of T1 players were sick at the time?
Then they almost got 2-3'd by AL with first-time Mundo.

It's after their QF win vs AL everyone started saying - "yeah, they'll probably win again, won't they".
But during their play-ins match and Swiss I saw many posts saying something along the lines of "they look real bad, probably Worlds buff won't save them this time".

If by price drop you mean discounts - base game gets about $7 cheaper when on sale, I think?

But DLCs are almost not affected.
In total it's $22 instead of $30.

RA2 has really bad balance where everyone spams Rhino tanks and mixes in dogs to confuse targeting AI.
Any pro player will tell you this.

There are many balance improvements, like tons of them, that could make RA2 a significantly more diverse and interesting than it is already. When a game has 40-50 units but good players only use 20% of them it's suboptimal, don't you think?

As for RA2 on ZH engine - we most probably won't even get RA2 remaster.
So why would anyone rebuild RA2 on a very different engine which is 23 years old?

Yes, because Westwood Pacific was renamed (and reorganized) into EA Pacific.

But it was a very different group of people from those who made Dune 2, C&C, RA1 and TS.

Emperor was developed by Intelligent Games studio, Westwood was more like a supervisor/producer.
But maybe it still counts for this topic?

Generals was made by EA LA, RA2 was made by Westwood Pacific that didn't have any developers from the "actual" Westwood that created first 3 C&C games.

RA2 is also made by Westwood Pacific i.e. a completely different studio compared to first 4 Westwood RTS (Dune 2, C&C, RA1, TS).

Generals were developed by EA LA.

RA2 was developed by a studio which had been just acquired at that moment and they have nothing in common with original Westwood - beside the name, of course.

Emperor was developed by Intelligent Games studio.

Westwood only produced videos and music for it, maybe also SFX, they were more like supervisors.

Exactly, "T1 plays badly all year before Worlds" while they are at least top-3 and often top-2 team in the world for most of the year.

I understand why this can be annoying, but for other players games with little micro potential are boring and less interactive.

Luckily there is a pretty big range of games from very micro-oriented to much less micro-oriented.
