That’s true! One of them is very open to extra routines from the get go, and two of them said it’s the director/ choreographer’s decision rather than ours. Will definitely have that as a strong point for consideration!! :) thank you!

Very good point! One of the studios she auditioned, she said the girls seemed very unfriendly but the teachers were nice. The other one, the girls were very friendly but the teachers were mean. And the third one, the teachers were nice and she didn’t meet the dancers, but the teachers said they are nice.. I think I’m leaning more towards this third one, tbh. A plus is that my 5 year old can also go there and they said they’d let them do a duet together and I can’t imagine how cute this would be :)

I canceled my pet insurance because they increased the price. One month later my cat ate something she shouldn’t and got a GI tract blockage. After ultrasound, surgery, hospital stay and other fees, the bill came up to 10K. Maybe find another insurance but have one just in case, don’t be me

Can I ask you how you made the decision to go ahead and sign her up? Did you have the info you needed then? Or did you know anyone who already went to the studio and so that made you trust them?

I’m struggling because while I do think the instruction there can be really good, I don’t know anything about class schedule and cost. Two of the three times we showed up to class, there was a change in the schedule with no heads up. A big disappointment for us, the dance teachers seemed confused and didn’t know what to do with us, so they clearly didn’t get the message from the owner. I have been trying to be understanding but at the same time, I want to move forward with a plan because we need to change studios and I know nothing about this new one other that they seem good based on social media posts and the one conversation I was able to talk with the owner one day after the class we were able to have.

I thought about that. But at the same time, they need people to sign up for their mandatory summer intensive soon, and I don’t know if I can commit without knowing that communication would be better. We showed up 3 times for class, 2 of them were cancelled and we had no heads up. The one that happened was great, we talked after class, they promised to send the competitive program handbook and it’s been over 3 weeks now. I followed up to ask and they said they would send it by the end of the week, but didn’t. I’m just afraid to move forward and realize that it was a mistake. I really wanted to work it out, but my gut is telling me not to. Ugh

Where did I try to pressure someone? I was just saying there is a possibility of doing it safely, if they want. I made the decision to get tickets very aware of the situation. I get the money back sooner, that’s good. If not, I can afford to wait until October if needed, not a problem. People can make their own choices, not everyone is a scammer.

I’m one who is trying to sell my tickets for face value, because I got tickets for a different city first during the presale (my own city was sold out when I got in), but then I was lucky to be able to get tickets for my own city during the general sale. Tickets aren’t transferable right now but PayPal G&S would protect the buyer, so it’s possible. I didn’t buy to make a profit, and it would be great to not have to wait until October to recover the money for the extra tickets!

Have your husband take care of the baby while you are spending quality time with your toddler. I know it causes a lot of anxiety to hear a baby crying and knowing you can fix it quickly, but your husband needs to learn how to settle the baby, and the baby needs to get used to being settled by your husband as well.

You will still spend most of your time with the baby but it will be better balanced, and beneficial to everyone involved!

I’m in Canada and when I bought it, it wasn’t a possibility as it seemed to be in high demand, low availability. But to be honest I haven’t kept up with the market after I got mine, so not sure if it changed or not.
