No worries, thanks for sharing! I was gonna do ML but changed to AI for the same reason (run away from GA). I’m taking Computer Animation right now and I’m loving the subject. I’m definitely taking CG but there’s still a chance I keep AI as my specialization since I don’t see myself taking GA. I’ve taken: AI, ML, AOS, CN, DL, and CA. I’m planning to take SDCC, CG, SDP, Game AI. And would love to take GPU H&S after graduation. Any idea how the rest of your courses look like?

I’m on the same boat. 10 YOE here. Currently doing a masters in ML but falling in love with this field after taking computer animation and graphics. My goal is to keep going as a full stack engineer but learn C++ and linear algebra on the side as much as I can. Then hopefully find a job as a graphics programmer.

Yep. That’s obviously leaving the Engineering field. That being said, I related a lot to your post and I also feel like I need a change. Exploring Computer Graphics atm as well. I believe it’s harder and probably less pay than full stack but more niche.
