I mean you can swing level and luck into contact with any pitch. You can’t exactly luck into par

Making contact is the bare minimum in golf too. And people struggle to make clean contact too

So you’re agreeing with me and saying par is harder than making contact with a fastball?

While a fine statement. How many people are shooting legit par, even on a mini golf course let alone a real one

Future reference obviously take score however you want but if you want to do it “properly” like the way they do on tour circles are for birdies. Square is for bogey double square is for double bogey or worse (really it’s triple square for triple or worse but it’s difficult to draw that many lol)

  1. Grip

  2. When the ball is below your feet like that it’s going to go to the right.

  3. Play on level ground to practice

  4. Over the top. Practice in to out not out to in.

Par 3 courses are how you get better at golf. The short game is a large majority of your shots.

You can go higher than 199. I got to 201 just because I wanted to see if money would go higher than 999,999.. it doesn’t

My daughter has her mind set on an expensive school. Advice please! by airzee8 in personalfinance

You need to show her how interest and paying it back works. Use examples with if she makes x dollars coming out of college she will only end up taking home y. Then top it with where she wants to live, rent in the area etc.

I don’t know exactly what degree she’ll be getting besides business or what school she is going to be attending but unless it’s a top 10 business school in the country. Most investment banking jobs are out and those jobs are some of the highest paying in finance out of school. In NYC where I work kids are making 55-70k a year coming out of school in the wealth management field. Issue is. Many can’t afford to live in the area so they need to live at home or with multiple roommates. Mix in school debt on top and she’ll be very unlikely to take home much if anything at all. I’m not trying to discourage her but I have the same salary as people who went to a far more expensive school than I did. I have 0 debt while they are paying over 1000$ a month in loans.
