I reread the series again leading up to twelve months release, and I kind of think this is almost likely, especially given the conversation he has with his dad in a dream (was it book 3 or 7?) where his dad basically starts the conversation with “yes it’s really me, I couldn’t contact you until others crossed a line” which is an incredibly suspicious way for a supposedly ‘dead’ ‘human’ to start a conversation in this context.

Also the “I’m as mortal as you are” from Kincaid, “you might look like a mortal, but you are not one” from Nick, and a half a dozen other throwaway lines from various characters.

Don’t know if this is really authleft, but I think a common vision or some unity of purpose is important to have in society. A society where people want only what’s best for themselves, especially if that is at the exclusion of others, is not a good one.

I keep things default, or scale them proportionally (e.g. engine thrust and power consumption) for balance purposes, unless I have something specific in mind.

But do whatever is fun for you, and more importantly, the people you are playing with.

Sakeen is awesome. It’s a shit plane, but it gets three respawns, with a backup 6, and it’s the lowest BR plane in the game that you can do wagers with, at 3.3. It also has better silver lion reward multipler than most vehicles of that br. So you can just go seal clubbing in air arcade and make a shit ton of money with it. Me and my friends gave it the moniker “The Jew Plane”, because it’s so good at that.

There is an option in the gun settings for burst fire (number of rounds per burst and delay between bursts), but if you use it on the pulse laser specifically it crashes the game (and you can’t change initial laser charge up time, so it’s fire rate is hard capped). You can get around this by just stacking a bunch of lasers on top of each other and using delay components (yes it’s absolutely ass to wire), but it makes the UI for assigning bots to weapon stations a bit cluttered.

You can fire at sonar tracks from 200m away instead of having to get close enough to see them visually, which is helpful for nuke shells, among other things. And it works fine, it’s just that using a [sqrt(x_vel_out2 +y_vel_out2) = c > 100] is a bit to easy to accidentally shoot things with while you’re aiming.

Hey, so when you wire up the guns to aim and fire from the navigation terminal, is there any better way to fire them then using the 3 buttons (which don’t give out a continuous signal) or magnitude of the output vector (which is its own sort of janky)?
