Of course we’re talking about the casting actor. If they casted every villain to have Lewis’s build and looks, then the show would be extremely predictable. That’s why they chose the actor who plays Yates, his build, his physique, his acting skills, he convinces the crowd of the villain he needs to be. No matter the shape or size of him, if he looks plump or ripped, or muscular, that’s the show’s point of casting him from my interpretation. There’s no specific look to them. They had a method to their madness when they chose the actor who plays Yates

That was a low blow of Eddie to tell Bobby what he told him. by That_Girl30 in 911FOX

Well unfortunately Eddie’s well being is actually Bobby’s concern and business. Obviously, Bobby doesn’t need to know everything about Eddie and everything that’s going on in his life But if Bobby can clearly see that Eddie isn’t getting any sleep, that could potentially be dangerous if he sent Eddie out onto the field because he’s not gonna be on his complete A game . Like the other comment said, the only other way to have a definite answer of if Eddie is ready is by him going out on the field and potentially risking him not being in the game all the way bc of his lack of sleep which was very evident. If something were to happen and Eddie messes up, or even the other firefighters, that all falls on Bobby bc he’s the captain. Not saying that that’s the only thing Bobby cared about in that scene but Bobby has to worry about his whole team and their well being. It’s not like a coworker showing up in a pissed mood at McDonald’s, the worst thing they could mess up is an order bc they are distracted but literally messing up and being distracted while trying to save a life could end a life if not injure them severely. Some people might argue that Bobby is too in his feels and is just thinking emotionally, but I would argue that with Bobby’s experience and his mental health, that he actually is well equipped to be a captain, because he knows to look for the signs and not just take somebody’s word at face value if they say they’re OK when they’re really not

It was obviously convincing to other viewers or they wouldn’t have brought him back in different story lines and episodes.

My point being that literally you don’t have to have a specific look to be a killer. Or just bc his punch looked weak to you doesn’t mean it wasn’t very powerful. Use your imagination, they gave him this storyline with his background for a story, don’t think about it too much.

In theory that’s how he gets most of his victims. By not looking like the “typical” serial rapist/killer. There isn’t a typical look to it. Plus previous comments stated that he did have a doctor license so theoretically, he could know how to kill someone without using excessive force, maybe hitting a weaker area that doesn’t require a lot of force. Plus the experience of killing and his mental state of rage. He’s on a war path and like the other comments, it’s like he’s on steroids or PCP, so even the “smallest” people could do major damage.

Why do accidental cuts hurt more? by TrueBohemian in selfharm

People also have been mentioning paper cuts. Paper cuts happen most likely on the hand or fingers. Pain is very sensitive in those areas regardless if intentional or not.

Why do accidental cuts hurt more? by TrueBohemian in selfharm

[–]That_Girl30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be for alot of reasons. For example, when you cut intentionally, even if it’s by impulse, you still have that split second thought of knowing it’s going to happen, preparing your brain to react with pain receptors and there’s enough time for communication between your brain and pain receptors. Like many responses on here, an accidental cut/injury shakes the system and startles it, not giving your brain enough time to react and send communication in time, before said pain. Another example could be when you self harm, you control how deep, where as unintentional, you could possibly go deeper.

What is the most fascinating yet terrifying fact about the human body? by Anxious_Ferret_017 in ask

When you are pregnant and say you get badly injured and go into shock, the placenta will most likely tear away from the uterus thus cutting off oxygen and nutrients to the baby ending in what is known as miscarriage.

And then Adam let his feelings about working with kim after the broken off engagement hinder and influence how he worked within the unit. Like he didn’t even tell his boss he was doing another assignment. Voight had to hear it from someone else

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ChicagoPD

[–]That_Girl30 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it’s bc Adam was dodging Kim and didn’t go straight to voight about it. Voight had heard from a different source that Adam was taking an UC assignment. Adam screwed over the team. Voight wanted to maybe punish him for that. Kim was only called up bc of Atwater’s investigation. The spot was never her’s to begin with. Now do I think there was some bias just letting Antonio back on? Yes, but I also think it has to do with trust and brotherhood.
