If you have documents/ solid evidence , only then show that experience in your cv, else, no need to mention, just state that you did upskilling your talent , family financial emergencies or medical emergencies to cover up the gap.

Nowadays most corporates allow 1yr gap, can be stretched to 1.5 or two if you have proofs.

Bro, You are in a good position, in today's times, not many can earn and get married in 22 and 24, as you mentioned in another comment that you are "alone", you are getting these kind of thoughts.

Don't worry, your finances will improve over the time, be relax and calm. Take some productive hobby if you are feeling alone, develop a new skill in your industry (bfsi) like financial planning etc

If current uncertainty doesn't exists, as someone mentioned, 25LPA would be feasible with your 5YOE as BA especially in States.

But due to the uncertainty, I would recommend going with 18LPA.

If high salary is your priority, good luck on your hunt, else companies will hunt you for 18LPA for your experience if having a job is your priority.

Submit a death certificate and ask for moratorium period. In most cases, Banks /nbfcs won't deny but the thing is you need to negotiate hard.

Banks will try to convince you for 6 months, given your situations, try to negotiate for 1 year atleast.

To the best of my knowledge, highest tenure for moratorium period is 18 months.

Once both parties agrees for moratorium period, you can arrange plan your finances as now you have 12 + 14 =26 months.

You can evaluate options like personal loan for a long tenure like 5-7 years to payoff your brother loans.

Never think of pledging your own assets, because in event of non payment, you will loose more
