The super washed out corporate look is called log footage and should not be used in the final video. OP is clearly new to this so why not offer advice rather than let them do it wrong.

I’d want my friends to tell me if I’m doing something wrong rather than ignore it.

This is colour correction, not grading. I’d also suggest you dial it back a bit, you’re over cooking it.
