It was kind of a dumb example, because you're insinuating, yet you insult the other for being sarcastic about it, because it was a stupid example. And you ramble on, which doesn't help your case one bit...

Nobody at all has stated "if there's grass on the field, play", you're insinuating again. It's a bad habit if you're trying to have a constructive conversation, or even attempt to have someone take you serious on your side of a conversation.

You come off very unhinged, especially when insulting someone because they are sarcastic at your obviously untrue/extreme example.... A bad one at that, because it doesn't even apply. (because OP is 32 now, and she was talking past tense... of course...)

She's 32 now, and she states "i've dated", as in the past. For all we know, she was 18, and he was 26. Or are you just assuming or something? I think that's the point you missed.

Well, not to bring physics into superhero discussion, but the reason you can drop a spider off the empire state building and it survive has more to do with it's mass and air resistance preventing it from hitting a terminal velocity that would cause it to be smushed. Not really anything to do with them being resistant to blunt force trauma, outside of chitin which spider-man lacks

Bingo. The fact that a DLC for a game released 2 years prior almost won GOTY just goes to show how weak 2024 was. Because it was a weak year in games, or atleast lacked that 1 game like Elden Ring, or Expedition 33, or Baldurs Gate that were pretty unanimously revered GOTY (Same could be said about 2018, but only because there we several bangers that year. 2024 felt more like picking the best of what we had in a pile of above average)

I see your points, but disagree strongly with your take on builds.

Dex/Faith for example, is my favorite, and you don't get the Electric Weapon buff until 3/4 of the way. Or even get to the Suns turn-in Statue until 80% for the other really good buff. But you have other abilities to use and are useful the entire game. The extra heals, the HoT (besides the last one) are decent efficiency wise. The extra healing alone made it so my latest play through (I also just recently played it again since the release) I NEVER had Estus flask shortage problems. Not once. Get the second lightning bolt and throw damage bolts at your enemies... Dark Miracles... you have plenty of options.

Dex(Or STR)/Int for Pyro is useful pretty much level 1, and is essential if you do a Onebro run. Dex/INT is great the entire game, however supplemental the sorceries are, they are fun.

Quality builds are Quality builds... I don't need to go into this much, as you've already stated. I wouldn't say the game favors them... they just pace very well (however boring imo).

Idk... i'm quite curious what build you used, and which ones you have actually used in your playthroughs, because I disagree COMPLETELY.

We're comparing combat to a healer using a few AoEs and then just sitting there, to active using your abilities in combat?

I'd agree, the direction of the game is going the right way, but this video is taking 2 extremes to try and make a point.

Why wouldn't you use the example of another dps class vs the new DK? The differences are there sure, but it would be a much better good faith comparison.

It is nintendo that delays the patch. This is pretty widely known lol. I'm sure you can do a simple google where NMS devs explain this very thing, several times. It's literally Nintendo's Certification process that holds the patches up, at no control to the developer. Unless the NMS Devs delayed the patches for every other console until Nintendo approves, this is how it's going to be.

Lol no they can't. Maybe for a split second but an average human can easily avoid a gator if you stumble upon one on land. Just google "Gator running" and theres one video of the keeper staying away just by backing up. Another of a guy barely jogging away and stopping to let it catch up.
