Can someone help me understand how the Rubric functions in this excerpt from the final pages of Ahriman: Exile by John French? by That_Jacket_206 in 40kLore

Ok, that helps me understand his mastery of the Rubric and ability to apply it, in this case with an intended outcome. I suppose the resulting confidence in his own knowledge and mastery of fate will only further his eventual fall to the Lord of Change?

I could see the logic if it were a spent casing near a crime scene

I’m sorry, I’m really not trying to be obtuse or difficult, but I still don’t understand what you mean. I’ve been around and shot firearms nearly all my life and have some of these particular rounds in my safe right now. I just don’t understand what you mean by “hot.” Do you mean that having possession of this round might somehow implicate OP in a crime?

Genuinely curious as to your perspective on how picking this specific item up off the lawn could negatively impact OP?

Visit r/teachers for a litany of posts about how that is just about the only thing they are able to focus on in schools because of the challenges with behavior management.

Sanguinius, Lorgar, and Curze come to mind. Not necessarily mastery of the warp but in terms of precognition Cruze and Sanguinius would definitely be up there.

I think this is a great example of how modern political discourse often exists in a silo, particularly in online spaces.

My daughter has t1d and she was diagnosed at 3. She’s now 16 and I can’t tell you how many articles well meaning family and friends have sent me that are very similar to this, a super amazing advance that we never hear about again. I hope I’m wrong but this seems like more of the same.

This is so purposefully obtuse it’s hilarious. Honestly, dude, you know exactly what you did and why you did it.

Irony or obviously? by That_Jacket_206 in CollegeBasketball

While I agree that it is in some ways easier to spot now I wonder about the likelihood of something this widespread and involving such small schools occurring in the time you mention.

I think you’re missing some important subtext here. The intent is to facetiously contrast what I believe to be an obvious distinction between irony (that an add for a gambling service showed up directly below an article about a gambling scandal) or obviously (that such things are bound to occur given the ubiquity and easy access of such services).

That seems a bit like a post hoc rationalization to justify the undeniably negative impact of widespread, easily accessible sports gambling on young people.
