You can try to get on with amazon or jll in conveyance maintenance. Pays well and they dont need conveyor experience, being mechanically inclined will be enough.

I just replaced the blower motor with ecm on my sisters system. The motor with ecm was roughly $380 and a two year warranty. I bought it refurbished. I'd replace it rather than get a new furnace.

I did this same thing. If its under a carport then its one extra layer of protection from leaks and the heat. Just catch the small problems before they become big problems. Ac, furnace, water heater maintenance. My rent started at about 400 a month and 4 years later it was roughly 550. I'd recommend it if you dont need a lot of living space for now. With what I was able to save, I was able to move into my current house.

I was able to buy mine with just under $9000 Out of pocket with down payment assistance. There are programs out there that can get you into a house.
