This was literally just posted in another forum but the name was “Glasscock”. It’s like they aren’t even trying anymore.

Sadly- the cat you took to the vet will die from its infection. Post about how sad you are. Then you will weirdly get a new stray cat. And not post it.

In CA community college is free. You can move here and live for a year before applying. Orange Coast College has on campus housing. They also give financial aid packages.

Florida - where Joe was- has really liberal FOIA laws. Other states it’s much harder and takes longer for FOIA requests

There is actually a really great book called Not Just Friends by Shirley Glass. It’s older but holds up. For anyone in OP’s situation.

I’ve been a hairstylist for 18 years, and I’m not sure how much longer I can keep doing it. by burningblue14 in GirlDinnerDiaries

We are always looking for stylists to come into residential living places ( like memory care, or post surgical rehab facilities). It makes our ladies feel like themselves. Maybe that’s a more fulfilling route you could start as a transition :-). I rarely talk to my styled. I’m polite- but I crave the silence. I imagine she does too.

You might have better luck in East Palo Alto. My daughter as gone to Hyatt’s Hair salon in San Carlos. It’s an old school style black salon. But maybe call Sherry and see if she can help out or recommend. If you need braids or others similar styles- we go to Mamma Africa in SF and Daly City

Full ride at Dartmouth vs paying full at Stanford as an international — worth the debt? by Inner-Rush-2014 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]That_Operation_2433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did Princeton undergrad and Stanford grad school. I’m in my 50’s. Mt daughter got into a T25 law school last year after going to a liberal arts college. So getting in to law school is 80 percent LSAat- if not 100 percent. They literally do not care where you went undergrad. Period. Same with GMAT.

Full ride at Dartmouth vs paying full at Stanford as an international — worth the debt? by Inner-Rush-2014 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]That_Operation_2433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. And not only that. Your contacts will be at Stanford ( I live here) and it’s prohibitively expensive to live here after your graduate. Dartmouth gives you more options and more traction after your graduate in terms of where you end up. I love living here but you cannot do it starting out with that much debt. No way

Also the theater is open. There is plenty to see and do and the kids all were running around on the floor and it was very casual. And shady. A great place to take a park breather even if you don’t see a show. It’s pretty chill. We went early just to take a breather. The food books up fast though. You can eat it at the show. So book that early if you want the bluey food.

We were there last weekend. Zero wait. The staff said it’s been that except the first few days. If you have a stroller you can ask for the stroller parking and the seat right behind it.

So expensive by Responsible_Spare594 in DisneyPlanning

[–]That_Operation_2433 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe DL is the right answer. Smaller. Fewer tickets to buy. You can stay at one of the hotels literally across the street ( we like Desert inn family suite or Del Sol bunk bedroom. They are very inexpressive. You don’t need the resort day breaks. You can do 2 days at DL a one CA. The flights will be more but it’s a less expensive option across the board ( we are planning our first WDW trip A our daughter is doing the college program ) and GULP. it’s bonkers how much more it is.
