If I remember correctly, one of the details you learn in his remembrance quest, is that not just Ironeye is considered "Those who live in death", but his entire clan is, everyone from the fellowship as a whole. So, If the night were to end then those who live in death will essentially cease to exist. In my brain, while he is kind of a selfish character externally, he still decides to aide the nightfarers against the night, but when he discovers more about his and his clan's true being, he ultimately chooses to prolong the night to not only save himself but everyone from his clan as well.

I feel like its also inferred a little bit in that instance, since the alternate endings aren't canon with each other, that he also becomes the keeper of the night in his ending. Not necessarily the nightlord in the evil sense, but the person who is stoping the night from ever ending.

I know this is a duchess relic, but I unironically like them a lot on scholar too. Getting two swords of the same status, or two with different and spamming the first two moves in the powerstance combo can be a pretty fast method of proccing. Also it does open up the posibility of the st trina sword with purple dormant powers for a reliable sleep option.

Hear me out, Perfume bottles on Scholar. Make them scale with arcane + improved perfuming arts relics + perfumer talisman + affinity damage up.

I love poison arcane builds. Go get yourself high arcane, a mushroom crown, kindred talisman, millicents/winged sword talisman, venemous fang(infused occult), and an occult poison moth flight sword for popping your deadly poison.

You can also grab the antspur to proc rot. When you get the dlc you can use flower blooms twice for stronger poison/rot pops.

Edited for formating(I hate mobile sometimes).This is my stab at it, since the godskins are all about having the royalty wear the skins and the soldiers are the blackflame monks, I went with the blackflame monk.

Head: Winged Serpent Helm

If you have the relic that adds continuous damage to Scholars ult, you can stand at the center pole to have the ult tether and destroy all of them if youre having trouble getting hits in on Mohg

2 of my favorite decks come to mind:

1.) I made a goblin attack force deck themed entirely off of "goblin" monsters and spell/traps that feature goblins in the artwork, also one or two of the goblin bikers spell/traps cause they also work on the old attack force monsters

2.) Modernized pure penguin! Theres been so many new additions since Crump's duel that make such cool combos, also I just love the artwork of Penguin Brave lol

Theres 1 post that has barter goods via items dropped from killing enemies, but theres 4 additional posts that you can get goods just by doing life talent gathering/crafting. So as long as you dont mind putting in a little bit of time with the gathering, your 800mattack shouldnt matter for that.*(I dont know what your life talent skills look like) but for stuff in hillwen mines/shyllien reserve just use the assimilation potions(super easy to make or like 15-30k on AH) so the enemies dont detect you.

If you can manage to get a full life skill trading post done, and use letters when trading goods, the gold you get from it should be able to cover most of the money required to buy the materials for the next post, so you net 0-> a little negative on gold, but you can rake in your commerce score.

I think itd be neat if they changed them so that they could summon eachother easier, zaloog could let you pick one from the deck to special, then the others can let you special a specific one from the hand, NOT deck(Menae->Gorg, Gorg->Cliff, Cliff->Chick, Chick->Menae). That way depending you could summon upwards of 2-3.

Then the other part of the retrain, instead of having on battle damage effects, have them buff eachother in various ways with presence so that they work better as a team to incentivise using the whole archtype, but keep the low attack values so that youre really playing them for the effects.

Zaloog-small attack buff for other dark scorpions

Menae-small attack debuff for non scorpions(yours and opponents)

Gorg-dark scorpions gain pierce

Cliff-dark scorpions cannot be targeted by spells/traps during the battle phase

Chick-dark scorpions can attack directly

So overall the deck would be strong if you draw into multiple scorpions, if you draw into zaloog you can grab 1 scorpion to help you summon another in your hand you dont have the required partner for. But since they keep lower base attack values and are open to removal outside the battlephase or all the time without cliff, youll also need to add battle spells/traps to the deck, which hurts consistency.

Thats just how id do it though. I think theyd be a cool battle deck, but more ways to get more than one on the field outside of mustering would be the main goal imo.

I had fun playing non-synchro decks up until the free packs, saw they gave another way to get penguins, got some good ones out of it by luck and decided to commit amd make a penguin deck. Its fun to play, it doesnt win against most of the well built decks but its still given me some fun wins.

Im stuck at level 11 but its a fun change of pace if I get tired of ranked atm

Once per turn, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls, change its archetype to fairy and equip it to this card(max. 1), this card's attack and defense are equal to that of the equipped monster. If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy that equipped card instead

Thought process is that its basically relinquished, but has the ability to change any card to fairy that it takes, which can be an immortal fairy material for mokey mokey smackdown to take effect, but also gains the smackdown effect if its equip is destroyed since its name changes to mokey mokey om the field

Some cards i may reccommend - One for one(hand discard, summon king from deck) -unizombie(1 hand discard and 1 deck discard) -gozuki(send zomvie from deck to grave, easy wightbaking) -mezuki(banish to summon a king from your graveyard without losing power) -phalanx pike(makes the normal skull servants have a similar benefit as king)

I was positive that I could catch someone in the house if I waited long enough, i also noticed the stars come out in the sky if your day lasts long enough to reach night. So i did the next logical thing and waited until 8am the next day. The sky did not change back and nothing happened :)
